I have been going to this group of doctors for approximately 15 years. They have ALWAYS given superb care, and they have always been willing to work with us during times of financial hardship. I can usually get same day appointments when needed, and waiting room time is very minimal. They even have some evening appointments available. Best of all, I believe that they treat you with the same loving care as one of their own family members. I'm so thankful for all the Doctors and Staff at Family Medicine Specialists! Through the years I have gone to many Doctors throughout West Michigan. I began at Family Medicine Specialists about 6 years ago and I could not be happier. I love all of the Dr.'s there, they have always treated me with the utmost respect and my entire family as if we were their own. True, this past summer they did stop taking certain govt. insurance policies, but they also gave you the option to switch to the one they do accept. We did to keep our Dr. \r \r We are always able to get in during an illness at last minute. The staff is friendly for the most part, You do not wait forever to get into your appointment, the most I have ever waited was 15 minutes, I have waited for HOURS before at other Dr.'s waiting. The Dr.'s here listen to you and become more than just a Dr. You have nice quiet clean waiting room, easy parking, toys for the kids, I love it here. I would not switch for the world.\r \r Dr. Schuler is our Dr. and has become almost a family member. She knows all of us very well, and knows our health issues and is always on top of things. And having a son with medical conditions we have gotten to know all of the Dr.'s there and are treated with respect and always gets us in immediately when it's an urgent reason. i had my child going to this office for almost a year , they then told me they can no longer take his insurance\r just because it is from the govt. , shows you how corrupt the american health care system is, all they care about is money, i then needed a disability paperwork filled out and they wanted me to pay 15 dollars , obviously someone who is on disability does not have a lot of money. they are very rude their. \r i have gone there for years and they have been polite for the most part, but in the last few years they have been serving the high class patients it seems like to me , DONT GO THERE. Dr Schuler is incredibly personable, she truly cares, and yet she also brings the latest information and a broad range of knowledge about pediatrics, ob, gyn, and the day to day sicknesses.
