Prior to the move, Justin from their office personally delivered boxes to my house so I could get some packing done ahead of time. I recently used Metropolitan Moving and Storage to move within Potomac. It was an excellent experience from start to finish. Eddie came to my home to provide me with a free estimate. He was very thorough and answered all of my questions. The move ended up costing about $200 less than he had estimated. On move day the crew showed up on time and worked efficiently throughout the day. They took great care of our items and did not break or scratch a single thing. I will definitely use Metropolitan again and would recommend them to anyone in need of moving services. more

At the recommendation of a colleague, I went with Metropolitan Moving & Storage for my move. These guys do phenomenal work. They came and packed one day and moved my 5br house the following day. My wife and I just spent the entire weekend unpacking and everything arrived without a scratch. We had found these guys on the Internet with positive reviews. We recently moved locally from a 3BR apartment to a single family home. We hired Metropolitan for both packing and moving. They did a great job with the actual work. The men who did the physical work were professional and efficient, and worked tirelessly. Everything arrived intact. The problem was with their account representative, a guy named Eddie Zaslav. Eddie came to provide an in-person quote. He was very confident in his quote, the number of men needed, and the hours it would take. When the work was finished, it took much longer and more materials than he figured, and the final cost came to be $600 more than the original estimate! I called three times to speak with Eddie, but never got a call back. But they did go ahead and charge my card! This is highly unprofessional conduct, and because of this, I do NOT recommend this company!? more
