Best

Magnena styled my hair for about 17 years. She is not only an amazing stylist, but became an an amazing friend. My only regret about moving out of the area was leaving Magnena.

I have had the privilege of having Magnena as my hairstylist for the past 19 years. She does a great job, but more importantly cares about her work and clients. I have always enjoyed my appointments. Unfortunately I am moving and will miss her, but this is clearly an opportunity for someone else to enjoy her services. more

I currently live in Katy. I moved to TX over 2 years ago and I had a really hard time finding a good hair dresser. I tried many, and every time I left disappointed. Magnena came recommended by a co-worker. I kept postponing making the appointment because her saloon was over an hour from my house, and I didn't want to drive that far, but after another failed attempt, I decided I will do the drive. I am SOOO HAPPY I did. Magnena is AMAZING. She did such a good job. I have a bob haircut, and she cut it EXACTLY as I wanted it. She took her time with it and it came out PERFECT. I am definitely going back, regardless of how long the drive is. I highly recommend her, she is very very good. more

I moved to The Woodlands in October, 2014. After a very mediocre experience with a nearby well-rated stylist, I found Magnena. I'm 42, with thinning hair, and not as stylish as I would like be, so I wanted someone to help me make the most of what I had to work with. I also wanted something that would be very easy to work with each morning. Magnena exceeded my expectations at every turn!. She listened to me, shared her insights, taught me about my head of hair, and gave me the best cut I've ever had -- all at a price I could afford. What's more, it's been about three months and while I desperately need another cut, it's still manageable! I'm going to finish this review and go schedule another appointment. I definitely recommend her. more

Putting my hair in the hands of M Studio Hair Salon has been one of the better choices I have made in my life. My previous stylisthad left the state and I was in desperate need of a new stylist. After a search online and a conversation with the stylist, I felt comfortable that was I was entrusting my hair to a professional who could work well with my hair type. The experice for the past three years has been only positive. My hair has flourished under the expert care and advice of Magnena. more

Best men's haircut...ever. I'm an attorney and I am pretty picky about my appearance. I've been going to Magnena for about three years now and couldn't be happier with the quality of service and her attention to detail. I go to Magnena because I know I will get consistent results each time because of her level of detail and attention to the customer. It's at the point where I don't need to remind Magnena of how to cut my hair. more

M studio is AMAZING! I am super picky about my hair and who touches it. In the past I have always had crazy experiences with stylists not doing what they said or hurting my hair, or just being unprofessional but not here! Magena is a hair magician! She was able to manage and tame my type 4 Afro hair and give me my first blow out ever! The products she used were great, she was also extremely knowledgable and gave me awesome tips on how to keep my hair healthy! Besides here being an awesome stylist her personality is great! She kept me laughing, truly just a pleasure to be around. I would recommend her to anyone with any type of hair because I know if she can do miracles to MY hair, she can magically transform anyone's hair regardless of race or texture! more

I would first like to start by saying that this review is looong overdue. I have been a customer of Magena since April 2012. The story began when I was relocating from DC to NYC and looking for a stylist to cut my hair. You would think that NYC would have the most amazing stylists, especially in Harlem, WRONG!!!! After finding someone in NYC to cut my hair and finally ending up with the 1985 Salt&Pepa messed up haircut, I was at a crossroads. I came home to visit my family in Conroe and started researching stylists that could cut amazing styles. After researching for what seemed like an eternity all over Houston and surrounding area, I finally found Magnena. Now, for her review. Magnena is the most AMAZING stylist ever in life. She not only cuts African-American hair, but she is skilled to where she cuts hair of ALL races. Pretty amazing stuff, because this is by no means easy. She is actually the only stylist that I have ever come across with this talent. For over a year now since finding Magnena, I am constantly stopped on more than one occasion literally EVERYDAY by someone wanting me to just stop so they can admire the haircut or pay a compliment in passing. You know that you are talented when other stylists approach you and compliment YOUR stylist. Happy with my new found Magnena, the dilemma came when I started traveling back and forth between New York and Texas just to get my hair cut and styled. Fast forward to now. I ended up moving from NYC to Houston (for family and love) and glad to know that Magnena was here to style my hair, which significantly helped in my transition back to TX. Anyone that has moved knows the hassle and trial and error that comes with locating a new stylist. Thanks, Magnena. more

I had been getting my hair colored by Kristine Kelley when she was a student at the Aveda Institute, which she had always done a great job, followed her to M Studio Hair Salon, last visit had her put hi-lites, awesome, she is a great stylist and cares about her clients, she takes the time to make sure you are happy with your look. Magnena is the best! I'm only in the Conroe area a short time but thankfully found her quickly and was overjoyed with her results. She gave me the best haircut I have ever had! She is knowledgeable about all kinds of hair types and makes it easy for you to care for it at home. I'm moving to Dallas but will absolutely be visiting Magnena for maintenance! more

My first visit to M studio was fantastic! The salon is very stylish, Magnena is very professional, she keeps to time,uses top range of hair products,addresses whatever hair issues you have. In addition to this,she is very nice,passionate and extremely good at what she does. After getting my hair done on the day of my first appointment, I was so impressed with the outcome of my hair and the service rendered,that I had to pre-book my appointment with her till the end of the year. Presently, I have been to M studio three times and there is a big difference in my hair already,it looks healthier , it has stopped breaking, and I have got a stylish hair cut too.. I actually look forward to the next appointment. Magnena is the best hair stylist in Town! I call her ""THE HAIR DOCTOR"". I would confidently recommend her to anybody. more
