Lyndale Animal Hospital

I don't want the first thing someone reads about this clinic to be negative, so that is why I am writing about my experience here. I am a new pet owner, and my cat had some difficulty breathing ( I was told she had an upper respiratory infection) and I was very concerned. They were able to squeeze me in between their appointments, I was told that there may be a wait but they would do their best to see my cat as soon as they could. When I arrived, the receptionist asked how my cat was doing because she was concerned about her breathing. One of the techs came up front to take a look at her to make sure she was doing ok, and I really appreciated that. I didn't have to wait long, and the woman doctor I saw was very friendly, kind, and took her time with me. The staff here are very nice, and I would highly recommend bringing your pet to this place! :) more

I found this clinic from looking at reviews on line and found it is the highest rated vet clinic so I decided to transfer my pets from another clinic to this one. I have yet to have to go in though... because every time I call they are so helpful with home remedies for my pets... that I have yet to pay a dime for their service. I know with my previous vet, they would have required a vet visit to offer me such helpful advice. Pros: Great customer service on phone, Thoughtful Vets more

These folks are fantastic. Drs. Schnack and Grindle are superb veterinarians and their staff members are great at making your pet's visit as calm and caring as possible. Dr. Grindle is a great vet. I brought my baby kitty to his office nearly two years ago and have not had any reason to switch vets, even though I have moved out of the area. I have run acrossed acquaintances who choose Lyndale Animal Hospital and feel exactly the same way. Dr. Grindle is very thorough and even makes sure the pet's parent(s) are adjusting well to any new situations which is greatly appreciated. Dr. Grindle is a great man and a great vet. He is kind and calm. He truly takes the time needed to fully examine my dogs. He's so calming that I almost fall asleep when I'm in the room with him. Great guy! more

My cats have been going to Dr. Grindle for years, and they really like him. He is very gentle with them and he always takes time to answer my many questions. The office is clean and quiet (which seems to be more calming to the cats), the prices are very reasonable, and the staff is very friendly and accomodating. Pros: Knowledgeable Dr. Grindle! Took my puppy in for his first shots. Was the best experience ever. The Dr was very nice and handled the puppy. My pup was not at all afraid or expressed any pain during the shots. The staff were very courteous and informative. Will definitely go again and highly recommend. more

We took our St. Bernard to Lyndale Animal Hospital because she had become scared to death of the vet because of bad experiences at other clinics. But Dr. Grindle and his assistant were so good with her and were able to have her remain so calm that she didn't even know when her temperature was being taken or she was being given a shot. I also appreciated how he started our dog off with a reasonable treatment because her condition doesn't appear to be severe and didn't try to scare us into thinking that we had to do lots of costly, invasive, and potentially unecessary procedures. The facilities were neat and clean, and the office staff were very friendly and helpful. The cost of everything was reasonable, I thought, as well. Dr. Grindle was fantastic with our little basset puppy, Roy. Roy got sick with Parvo and required hospitalization for a week. Dr. Grindle would call daily with updates and did not seem burdened when we would call for more updates. Eventually, Roy succumbed to the virus, but not before the entire staff provided everything within their power to keep him alive. Dr. Grindle even took him home at night to monitor his health.
