Relaxing spa experience with professional staff 7/27/2011

Customer service is important to me, and the staff was very professional and went above and beyond to make me feel pampered, welcomed, and relaxed. I would highly recommend the hot stone massage. The moisture hair treatment was very effective. I liked the option of the text message reminder/confirmation of my appointment. more

wish i lived closer! 7/26/2011

I am visiting from Albuquerque, NM and failed to get a much needed haircut before I left. I called and the very polite receptionist squeezed me in. The hair stylist was so sweet and gave me a better haircut than I usually get at home! Wish I lived closer! more

LUX Spa 7/25/2011

I had a wonderful experience at LUX in Anaheim. Antoinette gave me an excellent facial and left me relaxed and feeling like a princess. I then had a massage from Mayra who made sure to concentrate on my back which was hurting pretty bad. Both Antoinette and Mayra made me feel comfortable and relaxed. Thank you! I will return soon! more

I'm always afraid to let anybody new do my color, so after 3 or 4 successful haircuts, I let her at it. The color came out just okay, but this is my fault. She made a recommendation; I rejected it. Just yesterday I went back to her and let her do her thing. It looks great! Now I know to just trust her. Great stylist, very friendly. more

Nothing but awesome 7/13/2011

My appointment was for a cut & dye. Not any dye, but dark purple. Lux contacted me early in the day of my appointment to confirm I was going to dye and what color so that they were prepared. Everything went off without a hitch... and now I feel normal again ^_^ more

Magic Hands and a Trip to the Salon 7/12/2011

I have been going to Mayra for a while now and am definitely impressed with how great she is as fixing my back and neck problems that I always tend to get into. Magic hands, that one has! On this particular appointment I went to Jenn afterwards to get my hair color changed. She got it to the exact color that it was supposed to be and gave me some great tips for helping to keep it dark since I went from a lighter shade. I highly recommend both of them and this salon/spa in general! more

My Favorite 7/8/2011

The Lux Salon at the GardenWalk in Anaheim is my number one favorite. The atmosphere is serene and calming. From the moment I walk in the door, Lux associates are friendly and attentive. The facials are a wonderful treat. Add to this experience the great Aveda products and it's near perfection. more

They give free consultation.. I was offered samples of products that would give me the look i was looking for. Based on the consultation, I made an appointment with Amanda. She was really good and I was extremely happy with the results. more

Another great day at LUX 7/3/2011

Everyone at LUX is always friendly and helpful. I enjoyed my mini neck massage and the shampooing was great, talk about relaxing, I almost dozed off. My haircut was great, as usual, but a little bit shorter than I wanted, just by a smidge though. The color is perfect, KUDOS Wendy! I will be going back in about 8-10 weeks but adding it a facial and body massage too. more

Wendy cut my hair and it was magical. She did the best job, I have never had anyone cut my hair so that I can straighten it and it look good and if I wear it curly it still looks awesome. Loved her, will definitely go back again. more

Massage 6/19/2011

I had my first massage from lux today. Myra was awesome. I am three months pregnant and Myra went out of her way to make sure I was always comfortable. I loved the massage so much I signed up for three more massages. There's a discount when u sign up for three more. The cool part is that u don't have to prepay for them. more

I love this shop it is great and the people are always so nice. James does a fantastic cut and wendy does a great perm. It took me 30 years to find someone who can perm my hair and make it look natural. more

The 5 stars is not just for the neck and shoulder massage before my hair service was done. It's not just for the hand and arm massage while my hair is being conditioned. It's primarily because my consultant provided honest opinions and not just what I wanted to hear. I ended up doing less service than I originally planned but the overall result was beautiful and right for me. I loved the Aveda experience! more

I wouldn't go back. 1st timer...had paid for an hour massage and received only 30 minutes after a quick foot rub and a survey!!! more
