I like this restaurant the first time I went, and loved it the second time. It is very small, and really all they serve is fish so if you don't like it don't go to Lure. The menu is highly creative cruisine, and the atmosphere feels more like San Francisco than San Mateo. The wine list is quite interesting, with the whites for example organized by sweetness rather than region. If you are a frustrated suburbanite on the Peninsula, this restaurant will make your day.
Pros: Creative menu, wonderful seafood, intimate ambience
Cons: If you don't like fish you should not go to Lure. Not much else on the menu.
