Very fresh seafood and intriguing sushi options. If you dont care for seafood/sushi they have also have alot of non seafood items, like filet mignon, a burger, pork tenderloin, pastas to name a few. Love it here and will be back many many times. more

Editorial review from Citysearch 7/24/2013

If you like clouds of cigarette smoke around you while you eat, then you'll love Lure Bistro. If you don't, avoid at all cost or make sure you get a table inside. However, what once was one of our favorite restaurants, enough to warrant a long drive all the way from Kent, has seriously gone wrong. The sushi is no longer prepared and served with the same finesse as it was in the past and again, smoking in the dining area outside is totally disgusting... even for smokers you don't want the smell and resulting taste of cigarettes while they eat. more

Can't say enough, really, really good 10/6/2010

Visiting mentor from Chicago and was looking for a place to eat. Found this one on city search and decided to try it. WOW. Started with the oysters and decided to order more. Then the graham cracker calimari, I can honestly say, I have never tasted anything like it. On to the main course, lobster tail. Nothing less than delicious. And for desert, death by peanutbutter!! STFU! What else can I say. Alll excellent. Plus very good service. Waiter was helpfull and attentive without being pushy. Only wish I had been there in the summer so I could have sat on the patio. more

Best margarita in town, food is alright 3/2/2009

Lure Bistro has the best on-the-rocks margarita in town, hands down. Pay the extra buck for the Grand Marnier float! It is delicious! I have been several times and on some occassions I have been very pleased with the food. Others, I have been a little less than satisfied. I don't think their sushi is very good, but their soups are delicious. The entrees I have gotten are usually pretty good, but for the price, they better be! I honestly go just for the drinks! Pros: Margarita! get it on the rocks with the Grand Marnier float! Cons: sushi is not the greatest, a little too pricey for what it is more

Good food but too loud 12/9/2008

Food was great but the place is so noisy that we had to scream to be heard across the table. We asked the waiter to please turn down the music ,he eventually did. Loved the crabcakes but would not go back. Pros: food Cons: noisy more

Great Sushi, Great Atmosphere, Great Swordfish & Grouper 5/10/2007

Heard it from a friend who heard it from a friend who... sounds like a song, right? Well, it's true, and I can say it was a great referral. I brought a few business clients who have a sense of adventure and had a really top notch meal. The sushi was great. I would definitely recommend the Bruce Lee roll... really good quality barbequed eel. The grouper was outstanding as well as the swordfish. They also has a good chilled New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc by the glass, which was great with the sushi and the fish. I would highly recommend this place and wish we had been there on a Friday in the summer to soak in some of the rays and what is sure to be a dynamic and ""funki-fied"" atmosphere at the Tiki Bar. Pros: Atmosphere, artwork, staff, food more

Food was excellent. Atmosphere was pleasing, we dined upstairs overlooking the kitchen, a little hokey in the bar, but still fun. Service was exceptional, very attentive. more

Hidden Gem 6/30/2003

OK, so maybe its not such a secret to upper east siders, but I think this is definitely one of the more underappreciated dining establishments in the Cleveland area. My girlfriend and I were in the area and were taking a walk one evening when we stumbled upon the place. We were totally shocked. It was definitely a place that can hold its own with the Tremont and Ohio City scene. Good food, awesome decor (its gotta make you smile), and generally a nice place to be. It's not a romantic place (too many fish for that), but still a great place for a date. Who knew Willoughby was so hip? Pros: Great atmosphere, Good Service Cons: Too far away from me! more

Trendy Seafood 8/1/2002

If you can budget $30 to $50 for appetizer, meal, and 1 drink and you like seafood, you'll like this restaurant. The wait staff is friendly, prompt, and attentitive. The food is excellent. The option of shaded outdoor dining is great. If you don't care for seafood, there are a few alternatives, but they focus on seafood. They have good sushi. AND Tuesday is all you can eat sushi platter for $15! Oh yea, free valet parking too. Pros: great sushi, great service, great ambience Cons: Pricey, limited parking, Shabby bathroom more
