The technician said over the phone that I needed a new lower control arm. The metal had been flexed and they need to replace lower control arm. They said the price would be $500. They said it would take 3 hours to remove s lower control arm. These people are crooks. I did my whole from suspension myself with the exception of the drivers side control arm. They come off in 20 minutes or less. They said it would take 3 hours to take off. I told them I would pick up my truck and not to do anything. The truck was there for 2 hours and they charged me $50 for nothing. more

My sons truck was towed to Luposellos on a Saturday night after 11:00pm and they charged us a storage fee for Saturday and Sunday when they were closed. I paid over $400 just for the tow and 2 days storage. The owner JR and worker were rude to both my husband and I. They also do terrible body work! I brought my new truck into them some years ago for a new bumper and the paint started peeling less than 2 weeks later. When I brought it back JR the owner had an attitude and said, “ok do you want a new bumper??” Um yes, of course I would like my new truck with new bumper not to have paint peel! They put another bumper on just for it to peel again. I never returned it nor got it fixed. I didn’t want to deal with the owner again. I still have the truck and the bumper is all peeled and looks like crap! I would highly recommend NOT to go there! more

I am local, and was storing a Porsche for a friend. While in storage, the clutch froze. The good news - they promptly towed it to the shop to do the work. The bad news - they added 2 quarts of oil, which I knew it didn't need. (To check oil properly in a 911, the vehicle must be brought up to operating speed, which they admitted hadn't been done. Otherwise the oil sits low in the sump and can't be read properly.) When I asked them to remove the extra 2 quarts of oil, I got attitude, and a long delay for an appointment. "Leave the vehicle for a day, etc. We'll do it when they get around to it." Ultimately I had someone else do the work, and that mechanic got all my business for the next 20 years. Silly business practice. Admit you made a mistake, bend over backwards to accommodate the customer, and it's a non-issue. more

Good: If you go to this garage only deal with senior or Brian.... Bad: Made an emergency appt to inspect my new lexus that i purchased in jersey and i made an appt to have it done. When I called on the day i was supposed to come in i was told by the receptionist "we don't have the stickers yet" But I replied "i have an appt! and i need this done today" I even went into the office and gave them my phone # to call me when they get the stickers" for the inspection. they never called..Stupid people! I used to get my lexus and jeep serviced there every 5000,00 no more.. Improvements: Learn how to say sorry, and do what you say you will!. Other: Just because this inspection was a $20.00 nothing transaction for them they sidestepped me. So now i say adios and off to the competition for my servicing and my referrals.. more

I've been taking my '93 Suburu to Mr. Luposello for years. His family-owned garage is one of the few that can do the NYS inspection sticker emissions control test for older cars. He is one of the nicest people around. Their work is of the highest quality and there's just a good feeling of friendliness. I hope he never retires. more

My wife and I were up on a long weekend in the Hudson Valley and on a Saturday, our engine light started to blink and our car began to shake. It turned out that one of our cylinders had stopped firing. We brought our car into Luposello's that afternoon, less than an hour before closing. Not only did he quickly find the needed part and fix the problem, but the final price was less than he quoted. His quick fix allowed us to enjoy the rest of our vacation instead of being stuck in a hotel while our car was out of commission. Highly recommended! more

After going in for an inspection and being told rear brakes were necessary to pass inspection, I approved the work only to get stuck on the highway a few hours later with a flat tire and then another. There was a problem with the caliper. The rims were replaced, tires repaired, and the brake job was done right the second time around, after keeping my vehicle for an entire day. I was fortunate to get a ride work from a friend, for, Luposello didn't seem to care that they had my car on a work day and made NO offer to help me out. I was thankful that there were no injuries to myself or daughter when the tires blew out. Although they made good on the repair the second time, there was no remorse and/or desire shown to keep my business. I will go elsewhere for my auto needs. more

I was referred by a co-worker since I felt the mechanic I had was over charging me. Lupsello told me what repairs were not necessary. The Service was quick and competitively priced. I will continue to have them service my car even though they are over ten miles from my home. more

Great family run repair shop. Mr. Luposello has been there for years and everyone goes to him. His grand children are even in the school system so you feel like he's really connected to his customers and his community. Plus, he does great work. I've brought everthing from a Delorean and a Mercedes to a Ford and a Honda to his shop. more
