Horrible service 4/21/2011

I am currently finishing my courses at Lumbleau Real Estate, the price seemed very competitive and the video courses of Mr. Lumbleau I found very informational and helpful... However, I had major issues with them as I approached the end of my courses. When I signed up for the courses to recieve my Broker's license I told the operator all of the college courses I had taken, she then went over what courses I would still need to take to qualify for the exam. Midway through all of my courses I called again because after looking at the DRE website I believed I was missing required courses. I was assured that no I was signed up for all of the courses I needed. I then submitted my application to the DRE, and 6 weeks later I found out I should have gone with my gut because Lumbleau had told me the wrong courses to take. This was very upsetting because it means another long wait for my application to be processed. I called Lumbleau up and explained my situation and they had the gull to charge me to add the correct course after their mistake. I must say I was very disappointed, not only do you waste my time but you than charge me for it!! I made it clear that I thought this was ridiculous but they told me there was nothing they could do because of their computer system. I must say my faith in them is very low if they cannot even control their own computer system to allow me to have a refunded course, and my faith in their real estate knowledge is nonexistant if they don't even know which courses I needed to take to qualify for the exam. It is a shame, I don't know who's running the school but it was very disappointing. I am just hopeful that I've gotten the correct information needed to pass the exam. more

Lumbleau is Outdated 3/30/2010

I used Lumbleau Real Estate Schools to get my California Broker's License in 2006. The course was helpful and I was happy with the program. I came back to Lumbleau when it was time to renew my Broker License and was disappointed that the study material was outdated and the on-line courses were full of errors. Some of the errors wasted a lot of my time because I had to do them over several times due to incorrect 'instructions'. When I called Lumbleau, he told me he knew about these issues and said that I would still pass the course. My concern was the hours of wasted time. He offered me a $5 refund, which showed me his lack of concern, so I decided to write this review. Sucks Fail Cons: Outdated, careless, typos, poor navigation more

Frustratingly confusing!!! First of all, don't buy the videos unless you want to hear the life stories of a senile dinosaur who doesn't know left from right. Online materials have so many typos, you'll have to ask your friends in other courses what the real answers are. The least Lumbleau could do is update his material, but I guess he's busy answering all customer service inquiries in his one-man operation. more
