Lulu's has a colorful little sign, with an interesting decor inside, and a very cutesy menu, but when it comes down to it, the food is nothing special. As with the case with many Pan-Asian restaurants, when they try to do too many things at once, all of the dishes suffer. I wouldn't go so far as to say it's bland or awful, but for the price, it's definitely not someplace I would go regularly. I feel like when you go, too much of your money goes to the (no doubt expensive) professionally designed menu and the Asian inspired decor and not enough goes into preparing the food.
