Lulu In The Grove

Lulus is my favorite restaurant in the Grove. The staff is the friendliest of any place I've been, anywhere. The service is quick, the prices are fair with good specials. I can't say enough good things about Lulus. more

This has to be the best restaurant in the grove. Everything is just perfect at this restaurant. The staff is great and friendly and will help you with whatever you need. The food here is excellent. Skip it. Tasteless food. The lambs rib no flavor. Dates were mushy and the Cesar had no flavor. more

I went to lulu for dinner and a lot of the dishes reminded me of another restaurant...Then i realized everything was a copy of another restaurant even the plates are the same..lol who does that? How can you think you can get away with stealing someone else's idea..The prices are outrageous!!!! The drinks are served in a thick tiny cup...The worst thing is the cocktail bar nuts that was served ,they were so stale it lead me to believe they were recycling them ! that is a health hazard! Anyway that is just the beginning..we ordered some tapas the serving is ridiculous we had to order two more app. dishes...Then i had the churasco the quality of the meat was soo bad i can say i've had a better churasco @ la careta !My wife had the salmon an oh boy...no sides ! On a 15 dollar piece of salmon! Our waiter was great and friendly so was the rest of the staff but it seemed like our waiter was always pulled aside by the manager she clearly was stopping him from doing he's job..Not only that but she walked in circle around the restaurant making a face like someone died i would expect a restaurant manager to look friendly and smile but not her,then she came to our table and told us "hey guys was anything wrong with the service? if so i can comp off some of your meal?!?! never in my life have i heard a manager say that to me!?!? We told her our server was great then she replied ok and started to walk away so we called her back and let her know what we thought of the dishes she simply told us to right it down on a survey! Wow where did the owner find this manager? anyways we will never go back overthere..and encourage you not to go either! more

I had the eggs Benedict there and now I'm sick to my stomach ,thank god my husband and daughters just had the wafle (terible after taste) I will never step a foot there again! more

Wow what a rip off this place is i wish i would have read some of the reviews i would have never gonne!!!! we got ripped of by buying some deal pay 10 $ for 20$ worth of food and drink at lulu WELL LET ME TELL YOU NEVER AGAIN!!!! Food is so bad they charge for organic food and serve sisco! The lamb ribs are so bad the meat does not exist what look like meat is actually fat!!!!! Wow and the meat was though and tasted terible! The service and drinks were good thak god! Because you need to be drunk to eat this food! more

Went to LULU in the grove recently and i was very exited to discover a new restaurant in Miami. When we got there there was no place to sit inside...We thought there was two floors but upstairs is just a bathroom and they only have 5 tables inside, so we sat outside ...Our waiter Jonathan seemed more interested in selling us he's business idea then recommending us a dish we were truly annoyed by his attitude...We ordered the Lamb ribs , no meat just fat in a bone it tasted like Jello flavored fat..The chorizo was microwaved i am sure of it,these people must think we are stupid! Anyways we were eaten alive by Miskito it was terrible we asked the manager Elisabeth if they had some off she said she would check and never came back,she was too busy serving drinks and laughing with her friends by the couch area! when we told our waiter the situation he told us that next time we should bring our own off. Well there will not be no next time lulu sorry ! more

Everything in this place is copied they say all there food is organic but it's a lie...Trust me do not go there more

My husband and I have been searching for a place near our home to meet some friends and have some cocktails and appetizers and we found one!! I love the wine list..hence the 3 bottles we shared and the tapas that were absolutely delicious. I thought the staff was extremely friendly and were always an arms length away. The manager came by and introduced herself and recommended a couple other tapas that we are still talking about today. We will be back and cant wait to bring more friends. Yay for LuLu!! more

Went to Lulu recently, did not want the heavy crowd at Green Street, was very pleasantly surprised. Food was very tasty, wine was good, dessert was fantastic. Service was very good for the amount of people. Manager was very helpful, she always made sure that we were tended to. We will definitely go back. Seems like a fantastic place to have a business lunch. I highly recommend this place. more

I have to say, my girl and I were walking aimlessly in Coconut Grove the other night, and stumbled upon this gem. The sangria was great (and cheap), the tapas were rolling, and the service was solid. James was friendly as hell and funny, all in all it was a great time. I'm going back on Monday for no corkage night, and bringing a few wines in my collection. You can't miss this spot. more

I invited 35 friends to celebrate my husband's birthday, and Sylvano and his wife went above and beyond what one would expect in service, quality and portions of food, and personal attention. I have a very fabulous party, for a very reasonable price, especially considering the outstanding quality of the food. Everybody e-mailed mr to tell me what a great time they had and how much they loved the food. It was amazing, and I highly recommend this restaurant. The bar and outdoor atmosphere were very chic. It is the best food in the Grove, no doubt. Very sophisticated. I love this place, and am dreaming of a proscuitto covered fig right now. Or maybe a fried green tomato! Can't recommend highly enough! more

Both dinner and brunch are absolutely divine. I recommend the pesto omelette with parmesian for brunch and (everything) for dinner but you have to try the bacon wrapped figs. The salmon is also one of the best I have had in Miami. Music, atmosphere, service - all outstanding. more

They have potential because they do have dishes with quality ingredients, but the flavor combinations are off the mark. The martini's are some of the worst I have had and are not properly priced on the menu. It says ""martini of your choosing"" or something to that extent, yet they want to charge extra for a ""cosmo"" and for whatever vodka you choose. I'm not talking grey goose either.. i mean smirnoff! Ridiculous. more

This place is phenominal....Food is a 10+....Great atmosphere..Music is good too!!! Great vibe and place to come and just have drinks and bond with your girls or boys!! French Chef is GORGEOUS!!!! He cooks just as good as he looks.....\r \r Definitely a place you have to come check out! Its on Commodore & Main. Best new spot to come to the GROVE! more

Well done. Good food, good price, not too trendy. Not a ton of entree selection, but with sandwiches and/or tapas plates available, there's plenty to choose from. Nice outdoor seating and good service. more

Trendy place for trendy people. But if you want a meal, have fun selecting from the massive offering of six entries! Good food though, but portions could have been a tad larger. more
