This restaurant is great. What I love is that if I want something not on the menu, they put it together. That's assuming it's their typical fare. If there is a wait, go to the bar for a drink. The bartenders are very personable. Pros: Reasonable prices, delicious food! Cons: no reservations more

I placed a take out order for veal parm and a fried veal cutlet. Both were ordered with penne pasta with tomato sauce. When I took it home, the fried veal cutlet was simply placed on top of a small portion of dry spaghetti without any sauce whatsoever. When I called the restaurant to tell them what they did, they were rude and tried to blame me for placing the order in a confusing way. I told him that the woman repeated the order back to me so I knew she understood. I was also sarcastically told to bring the spaghetti back and they would ""throw on a piece of butter."" They told me that we could have a credit for a free meal, but I would have to let them know it was a free meal when I placed the order (gee, I wonder why). I opted for a credit. I also have to say that their method of preparing tomato sauce is simply to open a can, heat it a liitle and throw it on the food. I have never seen anything like this! I know good Italian food, and this is not it and anyone who has given this place a good review either doesn't have taste buds or they're friends of the owner. Best consistant Italian food in the area. I have ordered food from them for parties and all guests loved food. Stuffed mushrooms are outstanding. Good variety not too overwhelming. Great family place. Quick good service. The only downside is not reservations. So is you show up at mid-dinner time you could end up waiting for an hour. Have lived in the town for 35 years now and this is by far the best local restaurant around. Pros: Good food, clean, easy parking and consistantly good service Cons: no reservations taken and you can wait for quite awhile during dinner time more

Great place to bring the family if you're looking for standard american Italian at an affordable price. Huge portions, good food and kid friendly. You're not going to find anything gourmet about this place but if you love mamoth portions of Chicken Parmesan and the likes, this place is great. more
