Had a great experience with Luftenburgs Bridal. The owners were very sweet, helpful and kind. Effie was fabulous with helping me find the right dress and so patient w/me on day of fittings. Xotchil is an outstanding and incredibly fast seamstress. Thank you for my last minute 2nd dress and 15min alteration, the day before the wedding. I dont think any other bridal place would of done that!!\r You all made our wedding day so special and we want to thank everyone for their time and PS HAWAII was fabulous!!! more

My experience at this place was wonderful Beth was so helpful she made our day just fantastic and she did everything in her power to make sure we were happy and she never once gave us attitude after we told her how much money we had to spend unlike DAVIDS BRIDAL!!! BACK 2 BACK PROM DRESS SUCCESS! 3/26/2011

I found last years prom dress at Luftenburg's after trying on a million other dresses at various different stors. This years prom dress i also found there. Only this time i didn't bother going to any other store i went straight to Luftenburg. Both times I found the dress i loved within 5 min. :D THey were both so beautiful. What i liked there is that the employee was not rude at all, she was very helpful. & she also offered different options i had towards alterations. She wasn't pushy, she gave me my own space, but also stepped in when she needed too. I recommend this bridal store. I will return for other occasions :D more

Luftenburgs saves the day... 3/13/2011

Luftenburgs has served my family for years. I bought my wedding dress there. My dtr's baptism dress and communion dress there. For her Quincenera coming in May I decided to go to Davids Bridal. The worse decision I ever made. After much time and money and a few months before our event we are told at the last minute and by accident ( or I would have never known) the dama dresses were unable to ordered. The customer service was horrible. In a panic went to Luftenburgs. Again I was amazed by their customer service and their ability to eaze and calm the situation. The staff was wonderful and kind. We were able to pick new dama dresses in her colors (which were not easy to get the first time) her new dress which is beautiful. And the tuxedos were rite there on site. Luftenburgs has been in Fresno forever and many people may think because of it being in fulton mall it's too old and out of date. I was really happy with everything. I was treated so nicely and I found the dress I wanted, they even added colored beads to my dress to make it that much more special. I read alot of the different reviews and thought maybe I shouldn't go, but I decided to listen to my parent and I was so glad. People don't go by the bad reviews these people are great. more

Don't Go To David's Bridal 9/13/2009

I had great service and found the most amazing dress. The sales associate payed attention to what I was looking for and found me my dress in minutes. This was post David's bridal where I had the WORST service of my life. I wouldn't go any other place then Luftenberg's. more

Fabulous customer service 6/14/2009

Luftenburg's Bridal made shopping with my sister's wedding gown a memorable day. They immediately greeted us and in ten minutes trying on dresses. They listened to what we were looking for and helped us find the perfect dress. We had visited another bridal shop previously before arriving to Luftenburg's and they were aggressive, pushing other dresses on my sister, leaving her frustrated and upset . But Luftenburg's was sensitive to my sister wants and did not try to push any dress on my sister just to make a sale. Luftenburg's cares and I recommend going there and not the others. more

Picture Perfect Day 6/7/2009

I found the dress I had been looking for in the color I wanted and the size I needed when Elegant Brides said I wouldn't. I was so discouraged and unwilling to keep looking when Elegant Brides said no store would have the dress I was looking for in a plus size because samples only come in size 14. That I should just order it from them and compromise on the color. But I found it at Luftenburg's. The associates and owner were so helpful and friendly. They are helping us make alterations to my sister's bridesmaid dress so that it can have both purple and white like I wanted. I'm so excited about my dress and am driving my fiance crazy over how excited I am. Oh and Elegant Brides was going to charge us $899 for the dress that I paid only $569 at Luftenburg's. Even Alfred Angelo prices the dress at $599. Thank you so much Luftenburg for helping me find the dress of my dreams and making everything special for me again. Pros: Found the dress I wanted when other places were discouraging Cons: didn't have any more

Do Not Go Here 5/11/2009

Do not go to Luftenburgs! I had all my girls fitted and dresses ordered in Dec 2008 because my wedding was May 2009. My maid of honor's dress did not arrive until two weeks before my wedding and she was not able to pick it up until 5 days before the wedding due to alterations. All of my bridesmaid dresses had to have a piece of fabric sewn in the top and all of them fell apart or did not have the piece and had to make an extra trip back to Luftenburgs. Most of the women I spoke to on the phone had no idea what they were doing. All five of my bridesmaid were not able to get their dresses until the week before the wedding. more

BEAUTIFUL DRESSES! 4/10/2009

I have to disagree on the bad review Luftenburg's has received. Their dresses are no different then Mia Bella Couture, Madeline's or Scarlet o'hara. We have bought Prom/formal dresses at all 4 stores. The dress we paid a fortune for at Scarlet o'hara was made so poorly-so don't even go by the location when deciding. Luftenburg's has been around forever and being that it is on the mall you get a lot of different people from different backgrounds looking at the dresses, but that should be no reason the the awful review it received. Check it out-then check out all the others pricey dress shops-you will see there is no difference in quality-just in price! Pros: Support a business that has been in Fresno for years! Cons: none! more

Awesome Customer Servic 4/6/2009

My maid of honor and I were attended to with the best customer service we seen in any store. It made buying the right gown very easy we worked with the sales person and the seamstress at the same time while they attended to other brides at the same time. I bough a less expensive gown but was treated as if I were buying a $1,000 gown. more

I had already settled for a wedding dress someplace else, I say settled because it was the best one that company had. I went into Luftenburg's one day looking for a tiara, what I found was a gorgeous wedding dress. The woman who helped me was not pushy at all, she offered to help in every way. I wish I would have started looking there first. I will call the other dress a loss, I truly didn't pay much for it anyhow. To me, this place is wonderful. more

AWFUL!! Nice brides don't go here!! 3/11/2009

My friend and I came here to find some wedding gowns and was severely disappointed. Even though we had made appointments, the 2 consultants didn't give us the time of day and were helping teenage girls find prom dresses! And the place is just plain old and unwelcoming. If you are looking for a mexican quincenera dress, then this is the place for you. But if you're looking for some elegance and classy gowns, then I highly suggest you go somewhere beautiful and helpful like Madeline's Bridal Boutique! I still can't believe how awful this place was, and just plain gross. Go here for cheap looking and feeling dresses, if that's how you want to present yourself at your wedding. Pros: no pros Cons: no personal attention, dirty, loud mexican fiesta music!! more

Great Selection! 12/30/2008

I bought my wedding dress here and now my daughters are in wedding and the bride said I could choose there flower girl dresses. I went to David's Bridal and was dissappointed with there selection. There dresses looked generic and very expensive. $120.00 for a flower girl dress. So I went to Luftenberg's. They had beautiful flower girl dresses and the one the bride and I ended up choosing was a resonable $69.00. Stop wasting time looking around and just go to Luftenbergs. more

disapointment! 6/25/2008

I will never go back to luftenburgs after they tried to sell me a USED wedding dress! the dress had sweat stains, beads falling off, stains... and they tried to pull it off as a new dress! PLEASE! i had to find somewhere else to order a NEW dress with a month to go to my wedding ! so stressful ! It has seriously been the most stressful thing about the planning process... PLEASE DONT put yourself through this! more

Very stressed and disappointed 5/27/2008

I ordered my bridesmaids dresses here and 3 of them needed alterations. I got two of them back from being altered and I am VERY upset. They came back incomplete, one layer of the dress is shorter than the other layer by 1 in, the sewing is awful with holes because if looks as if it was just hand sewn. I am very upset and disgusted because now I DO NOT trust them to fix THIER mistakes because my wedding is in 3 weeks. My girls now have to take their dresses somewhere else to fix someone else's mistakes. Very frustrating and disappointing. I would not recommend anyone coming here to shop for your wedding or special occassion. more

I found the perfect wedding dress here at an amazing price. I bought a beautful veil as well. The staff is helpful but doesn't bother you is you prefer to look on your own. Start at Luftenburgs before looking elsewhere more

I bought all three daughter's wedding gowns..thru Luftenburgs. The first only the brides dress, all other dresses elsewhere. What a mistake. Luftenburgs bailed the mess other stores had created - all to our delight. With #2 & #3 daughters, they got it all. There weddings from dresses & tuxedos, went perfectly. The staff was wonderful, sometimes a little stressed, but understandably. They still did wonderfully. I've have referred everyone I know - without any trepidation. more
