Luftenburg's Bridal

I purchased my bridal dress two years ago. I've looked many other places for a bridal dress, online, magazines, large retail stores, small bridal stores, as well as bridal dresses sold from a private home. Lufftenburg's was the only place that had the exact bridal dress I was looking for. Don't get discouraged with the service. Unfortunately, they are short-handed, but when I was helped, the service was great. I'm very happy with my dress and am looking forward to wearing it. Luftenburg's selection of bridal gowns is huge! More than any other bridal salon in town. However, their sales practices are despicable. While shopping for a gown at Luftenburg's I noticed all the tags from the sample dresses had been removed. Then, when I asked who had designed certain gowns I was told that cannot be revealed unless I purchased the gown (a sales practice I later found out to be illegal). Well I fell in love with a dress, gave them a down payment and asked about the designer. The sales associate gave me a name I had never heard of. After doing some research on line, I found out the designer does not exist. I found out the actual designer of the dress and that it was worth HALF of what Luftenburg's charged me. To top it off, their seamstress is horrible. She almost ruined my dress by taking iit in too much and leaving the buttons in the back completely crooked. The cap sleeves she made looked ridiculous. I had to scramble at the last minute to find another seamstress to fix it. Don't waste your money there! more

I remember when I was a little girl going to the fulton mall with my grandma to Gottchalks and there was the big fountain there and Luftenburgs bridal. We went in there frequently. This long standing specialty store has been a permanent fixture of the fulton mall for years. The reason this store has been in business for so long is because it is terrific. The prices are outstanding, they have a very wide selection of items to choose from and the staff is great. They are very helpful.
