Dr. Li and the P.A. (Brad) messed up my face with PDL for rosacea. The P.A. under Dr. Li's supervision performed the beginning of the procedure and then passed it off to the assistant. I ended up with melasma and I still have the red blood vessels. I have mailed a certified letter in Sept 2011 and called the office 4 times, last call in Dec 2011, to talk about a resolution to the problem. NO RESPONSE!!! Dr. Li only has regards to the patient's money, not the patient! I've spent $800+ at this office. more

I just had my first appointment ever, with a dermatologist, yesterday. I met with Dr. Li, and felt so comfortable in my appointment. I have to say, my skin is the one thing that shreds my confidence level, and everyone in the office made me feel like my acne wasn't even visible! Dr. Li understood me right away, and told me I was too stressed; having a doctor confirm that with me is a great reminder that I need to relax more. I have experienced the best from the staff there as well, in my phone calls to the office. They were so kind and consoling when helping schedule my appointment, and then I had to call today to have them call in a generic brand for my prescription. (Pharmacies seem to be the ones raping people nowadays.) Again, everyone was very kind. I hate calling my doctor's or OB's office and being put on hold for ten minutes, or having the phone being answered as if I'm a pest for calling. I experienced none of this with Dr. Li's office. I will definitely be going back for my skin care with Dr. Li. And for anyone else's bad comments... I dunno, I can't say I heard anything foul, and I was there for over an hour (due to my arriving a bit early.) more

She is an outstanding Dermatologist and certainly not a horrible person. My daughter had a very bad rash on the back of her knees that turned into an overgrowth of yeast. We tried everything there is possibly to take care of the matter nothing worked. Finally got a great referral from my pediatrician, thank you DR. BAIN more

DR. LUCY LI IS A HORRIBLE PERSON. SHE GOES THROUGH STAFF LIKE PEOPLE GO THROUGH UNDERWEAR. EVERYTIME I WENT INTO THE OFFICE, SOMEONE THAT HELPED ME BEFORE IS GONE. THEY QUIT BECAUSE SHE IS VERY MEAN. SHE USES EXPIRED BOTOX, AND EXPIRED DYSPORT. SHE DOES BLEPHAROPLASTIES AND IS NOT LICENSED FOR IT. SHE HAS BEEN SANCTIONED BY THE MEDICAL BOARD FOR MESSING UP A PATIENTS EYELIDS, (GOOGLE HER SANCTIONS). HER OFFICE MANAGER IS ALWAYS TAKING SMOKE BREAKS, AND VERY RUDE TO HER EMPLOYEES. SHE RUSHED MY APPOINTMENT, IS VERY BLUNT, AND HAS ABSOLUTELY NO BEDSIDE MANNER. I EVEN HEARD HER CALL HER ASSISTANTS 'STUPID' AND 'MY 9 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER COULD DO THIS'. DO NOT VISIT THIS OFFICE. more

I saw Dr. Li in her Coppell location and was very impressed. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. I have read reviews about long waits at the office, however mine was short and sweet. I thought she answered all my questions very thouroughly. Overall a great visit! I will definitely recommend her. more

I have been going to Dr. Li for over a year now and I'll admit the first few times were fine. It is over time that I have noticed horrible things. I have witnessed Dr. Li yelling at employees, a very high turnover rate of physicians and assistants, expired restylane fillers, inaccurate allergy testing, and if you look her up online you can find that she has been performing unlicensed blepharoplasties and for half price! She was involved in a lawsuit and you can read all about it on the TX medical board website. She is very pushy about her lasers and cosmetic products and I am partly to blame for being so gullible and looking for instant gratification that I am sorry to say I fell into it. I have learned my lesson and will not be returning. more

Please just listen to everything in all the rest of the reviews and don't even waste your time or money to go here. Wait the few weeks to get into a good dermatologist, even if you think your skin is falling off. The only thing that is done happily at this office is taking money. I had to go to a different dermatologist for the same problem a couple of weeks later because we accomplished nothing at this office in figuring out the issue. Pros: nice, caring, took her time more

I read the reviews and thought people were possibly being a little bit too harsh. None of these reviews even come close to how horrible this practice really is! This doctor should not have her license or board certifications. These people see $$$ all the way through. When I actually had questions it was a shock to the girl the dr left me with and she had to leave the room and ask the dr the question. She might as well have just opened a medical spa and catered to women wanting all of the injections they can have on their faces- because that is where the heart of this practice really is. I would not give this Dr even a 1 star rating, but it won't let me! She is horrible, her staff is obviously trained to explain that the reason she is so quick to come in and out of rooms is because ""she is just so knowledgeable she doesn't even have to spend a long time looking at the problem because she can spot it so fast and know what's going on"" GAG! She left one of the little helpers in the room to talk to me which didn't make me feel much better, because all they had were recommendations on how I could fix my wrinkles and any other ""flaw"" they could find. Oh, and get this, they bill for an office visit that is much longer than what she actually spent in the room- INSURANCE FRAUD. Please do everyone a favor and do not support these horrible practices- GO ELSEWHERE! All they want is money here. PLEASE DON'T GO HERE!!! I just got back from my weeks suffering of some skin rash/hives condition that I've been waiting to see a dermatologist! I came in to see Dr. Li with two conditions of my skin: hives & acne. None of which she came even closer to take a look at my skin! She told me the hives will go away by itself and gave me something else for my acne. Then she ducked out the door as quickly as possible. I just sat there with the assistant entering in the data. I asked the assistant why did Dr. Li did not take a look at my hives or acne. And the assistant said Dr. Li saw it from her chair. Yeah, like 3 feet away!!! Then the assistant said If i want a full body exam, they will have to schedule for checking moles and such. What the heck, I am here with the skin condition for Hives!! Wouldn't that worth to take a look now??I am very upset how Doctor did not examine the conditions of my skin as I described my problems. This place is horrible. I could not believe how careless the staff and especially the Dr. are when the patients are worried with their skin conditions that have been going on for so long. This place is absolutely horrible. I was diagnosed by Dr. Li with a potentially fatal problem. The causes of the problem ranged from cancer to simple allergies. Even though it is very painful, all she told me was that there was no treatment and I would have to ""live with it"". She did not refer me back to my GP for further testing to find out the cause. If I had not googled the name of the disease, I would not have known how very bad it could have turned out to be. Luckily I had the testing done and it is not as bad as it could have been and is not even what she ""diagnosed "" me as having! I do have a condition but not the one she told me it was. This office really only seems to care if you want Botox or beauty treatments. This is not somewhere I would go for a real problem. Cons: Everything more

I agree, this was the worst experience I have had at a Doctor's office. There was obvious, uncomfortable, tension with the girls at the front desk and with the medical assistant. They had a bit of a verbal altercation while I was standing there. On top of that, their credit card scanner was broken and they actually asked me to leave run to an ATM to get cash and go back and pay them. I would recommend avoiding this place. more

This is the worse dermatology office i have ever been to. The staff and doctor are very unfriendly and act like they could careless about you. I have never been treated so bad at a medical office like this before. I would never reommend this office to anyone. Cons: EVERYTHING more

I recently visited Dr. Li at Frisco Dermatology, and felt the need to warn others about this office. I waited 10 mins at the check-in window for someone to assist me. When the young lady finally acknowledged me, she was awfully rude. After checking in, I waited 20 mins. then asked the receptionist how much longer would it be before seeing the doctor. She replied ""The doctor is with another patient, so I am not sure"". After waiting another 30 mins., Dr. Li walks through the front door, not from the back, but from outside with a jacket and purse in hand, which means she wasn't in the office. When finally called to the exam room, I saw her for 5 mins., very poor communication, then was left with a MA. Horrible doctor. When you want to see a doctor, you would want to see a person is high knowledgeable and friendly. So I decided to go see Frisco Dermatolog in Frisco, Texas. more
