Odd place, but hey there's beer 12/21/2005

It felt like a bar when I walked in, but it certainly had some quirks about it. The first of which was the large screen TV showing Scrabble championships. I have never seen so many drunks engrossed in lexical construction. In addition, Lucky 7 has a full bar devoted solely to gambling such as pull tabs and scratch-off games of every variety. There are some pool tables and dart boards, plus the standard selection of bar food. Odd as it may have seemed at first, Lucky 7 did have great service and their prices were quite reasonable. It has a good relaxing feel if you're looking for a place to hang out. And yes, they do have beer. more

Sometimes luck is with you 8/13/2005

I have been many places where pool players abound. This one was roomy and friendly. No uppity people to look down on you. You are accepted as one of the crowd. The food is good and the drinks are affordable. If you like to play pool or just watch people its a nice casual place to hang with a variety of friends or just to go and release some stress. more

Nothing Fancy, but a lot of Fun! 8/12/2005

The Lucky 7 Saloon is right off of the 124th/124 Ave. intersection, so it is easy to get to off of the 405. There is nothing fancy about it, but they do have a lot of pool tables, dart boards and pull tabs. The atmosphere is casual, music is blaring and it gets pretty smoky later in the evening. It's a great place for hanging out with friends or happy hour after work. The service is a little slow, but friendly. The drinks are good, the appetizers are your typical bar food. more
