I agree with review ""food is good, manager is cold"" 7/22/2010

The Lady Hosts is rude. Sometimes we have to wait 5 minutes while she is in back room. She need to have some one replace her if she is away longer. Food id great. The male host is ""GREAT"". He even remembers your name. \r Toooo bad management don't read these. Pros: Good Fool Cons: Bad Lady Hosts more

food is good, manager is cold! 3/9/2010

We live in Firstone and go to eat in Lucile's a lot, ever since they change the manager in Longmont, I really don't want to go back there anymore, she is unpleasant, cold and even mean to us two times in role...... anyhow, there is no doubt that the food is so good, but the lady manager can scare us away. We'd rather drive to Boulder to eat even it is much more crowded there..... more

Authentic Creole 3/8/2008

If you?re ever in Longmont, Colorado, stop by 2124 14th St., a small yellow Victorian house that's home to Lucile's Creole Cafe. Lucile's serves an array of gourmet and delectable breakfast and lunch items. The mouth-watering menu is simple but varied and large portions are guaranteed to leave you satisfied. Enjoy a glass of actual fresh-squeezed orange juice, squeezed that morning by your server or a cup of Southern Louisiana style Chicory Coffee. Try the beignets - New Orleans style donuts served hot and sprinkled with powdered sugar. Choose from a selection of breakfast items such as Eggs Benedict or a Four Cheese Omelet or something more authentic like the Cajun breakfast - a hearty meal with eggs, red beans and grits, or The Eggs Pontchartrain - pan fried trout and poached eggs, covered in tarragon infused Bearnaise sauce. Whether you are in the mood for something Creole or just a fantastic breakfast or lunch, Lucile's has it! And don't forget to check out their daily breakfast and lunch specials!\r Lucile's also has a great web store where you can purchase items like their home-made ketchup and strawberry-rhubarb jam and they can ship it anywhere in the U.S. more

Good Ol' Creole 5/13/2003

Lucile's is in a charming old house one street off of Longmont's historic downtown. We went there for brunch/lunch last Saturday morning. The place was pretty busy so we had about a 20 minute wait. As you would imagine, Lucile's menu features all thing cajun & creole including some pretty good beignets piled high with powdered sugar (not quite as light & airy as the one's you get in New Orleans, but still pretty good). The other breakfast items generated good feedback from the other members of my party. I opted for the crawfish etoufee, and it was pretty good although it seemed lacking in richness and complexity. I would say that this place is good when you're looking for a little variety in your weekend breakfast options, but don't expect to re-live the best meal you've ever had in the French Quarter. Pros: Ambiance, City Parking Cons: May have to wait more
