What can I say about this apartment company? I have lived here for over 20 years and I have never had an issue. The maintenance staff are excellent in getting the work orders taken care of in a timely and professional matter. Any concerns I ever had, which were very few, they took very good care of me. The ladies in the front office are great at providing the best customer service. I have no complaints and I will continue living here as long as they are in business. :) more

Lucaya House and its staff have always been very helpful for me. I have never had an issue with the staff or maintenance people at all. I have lived hear for a little over a year now and I am happy with the results. I looked at several of their apartments before deciding on one. Overall I love it here and I am hoping to stay around for as long as I can. more

Sitting around reading some horror stories about some peoples experiences about some places they have rented! So I thought why not post mine since mine is the complete opposite. I have lived in my community for almost 2 years and I couldn't be happier. The price is great for the size of my apartment. I can walk to the bus station and save lots of money on gas. If I have any maintenance request they come very promptly to fix. The ladies in the office are very friendly and helpful all the time! If your on the market for a new apartment check out the company I rent from your won't be disappointed more

Well I just decided that I would write a review for where I live since I couldn't be more happier with my apartment living! My complex is gated and has permit parking so I always have a place to park which is great for the area! I am very close to downtown alb where I can get alot done and since its so close I can walk there and save some money on gas!! My kids go to a great school and there is a few parks near by!! The management and maintenance teams are very prompt and friendly! more

Well I'm just here cause I did a search on my apartment and found this site! So i decided to write a review! I really like my apartment what makes it so great is how historic the neighborhood is! I really like how my neighbors in my community all keep a eye out for each other. I only have a bike and the location is great to get many places quickly and I also can run or jog lots of place I have to go often and this save me alot on gas!! The grounds are well maintained and everyone I have met with the company are always very friendly and professional!! Looking for a great place you should look into my location. more

I live in a 2 bedroom apartment on Spruce!! Its right across the street from a huge beautiful park!! I work at pres so it is in a wonderful location for my job!! It is within walking distance from work, shopping, school and downtown and very close to bus routes!!!! I really like the park it has a lot of green areas and a great playground and its large enough to get my walking in at night!!! The apartment I live in was recently remodeled and it is so huge!! The layout is perfect and the cute little courtyard area with pond is just so adorable I love sitting out there with my kids reading a book just relaxing when the weather permits!!! The landlords are very nice and take care of their tenants and the property very well!! I hope to stay here till I can buy a house!! This apartment is just perfect for me and my little family!!! My neighbors are great also!! more

Hello potential renters!! Let me just say I have rented from a whole bunch of different rental companies in my days and UNM rentals is by far the best yet!! I really like the size of the property I live on there are very few units I would say less than 20!! The property is cozy and semi private! I like it and my neighbors are all very friendly!!!!! The people in the rental office are always nice to me and my family!!! I am almost done with school and sad to know we are going to be moving out of state soon but if I ever have to move back to new Mexico I will be renting from UNM rentals!!!! more

My name is Val and it amazes me that my landlords know my name and address every time I walk into the office with all the tenants they have! The office staff has be so great since day one and that was 3 years ago!!!! I have lived in my apartment on Lead & Terrace for a lil over 3 years and I love it!! Whenever I have a maintenance request it always gets fixed in a very timely manner!! I love my neighbors they are all so friendly and the neighborhood I live in is just great!! Here just so I can send some shots out to my awesome ""office staff"" at the rental office for the apartment complex I live in. I was having a hard time finding an apartment everywhere I went the leasing agents would look at me like I was trash just cause I have tattoos! Why do people have to judge a book by its cover! I found unmrentals and knew from the second I walked into the office that I wanted to rent with them! It took me a couple of weeks to get an apartment because I had to look at a few different locations before I found the unit that was just right for me! I have lived in my apartment on mesa and gold for about 9 months now and I am really happy with my apartment! The whole staff from office to maintenance to groundskeeper are always friendly and professional. The amount I pay for the size and location of my apartment is very reasonable! I will be renewing my lease whenever it is time! more

Well we lived in this place for a year and from the moment we moved in we dealt with noisy neighbors and trashy floors. the place we moved into had burnt holes in the carpet and holes in the walls that they didnt fix (which they will probly try and charge us for) We dealt with people doing drugs al around us and drunks banging on doors. I have a three year old and i was to nervous to even walk to the park cause of all the bums around this place and then when we moved out they told us to give them a notice and that we should do it withen the first week of the month were moving out so we turned it in on the third and now they want us to pay all of a months rent cause it wasnt turned in on the first and on top of that they lost the notice we gave them and are trying to say we didnt even turn the thing in at all....i tried going in to see f we could work something out and the front opffice was so rude and i'm 8 months pregnant and cannot afford an extra bill at this time so now i have to fight them in court over this. They just want to steal as much money as possible from anyone living there and they dont even use the money to fix up the apartments. I had things brokin for months before theyd come in and half way fix it.......i ow have to fight them in court and i've read plenty of reveiws with other people dealing with this same problem and i'd like it if anyone else that had problems with them could contact me about helping us win our case against them so they dont get away with doing this to more people. I have a three year old and 8 months pregnant and was planning on getting married this summer but now it seems like we will be so much out of money because of this place that we have to put everything on hold and it is just very upsetting.....i have nothing good to say about this place....they wouldnt even put notices on the washers and dryers when they were brokin! Please again contact me if you had troubles with this place so we can stop this from happing to other people! more

FIRST I WANT TO START OFF BY SAYING I DONT SEE WHAT THE LA VENTANA LADY IS TALKING ABOUT!! SOUNDS LIKE SHE JUST IS MAD!!!!!!! I have lived in my apartment for about a yr and 1/2! The apartment I live in on maple is huge for the price I pay. I really like the court yard being right outside my porch!! The swimming pool is open year round and is always clean! I have never really had any issues with the office staff or maintenance people! They do get any issues resolved in a timely manner! I just registered for CNM and it's great to be within walking distance of the campus! If u are looking for something in the university area I strongly recommend checking these apartments!! more

Happy Camper no more!!! Now happy tenant! I was living in my camper but finally found a NICE apartment at a reasonable price!! I love apartment on Lead & Terrace. I have been here for about 8 months and now am renewing my lease for another year and my rent went down! WOW nice to be saving some money every month or rent! This area is great cuz its within walking distance to everything!!! Grounds are kept clean, nice laundy room on site!!! and the construction is almost done so this makes it soooooo much better! Move here if u can its GRRREeeeaaaaattt!!!! more

I am a perfectionist and had to find an apartment that was clean, friendly and a safe location! WIth these requirements I thought i would not be able to find anything I could afford since I'm on a tight budget being a single mother of 2!! But i found the place off of Spruce and Coal that is the perfect fit for us! Management was very helpful finding me what i wanted! There is a court yard with a pond and a lovely park across the street where my kids and I can play and walk!! It is close to downtown and the city bus! I LOVE MY APARTMENT more

I love my Nice and cozy apartment!! Being a first time renter I did not know what to expect but the experience I have had here this year since I started school has been amazing. I love the location, small number of units, laundry facility. Management is very friendly. I hope to stay here till I am done with school. I HAVE LIVED IN MY APARTMENT ON TIJERAS AND ASH FOR ABOUT 6 MONTHS! AND JUST HAVE TO SAY I AM REALLY LIKING THE QUIETNESS OF THE AREA!! I AM A STUDENT ON A BUDGET AND ITS CLOSE TO UNM, AND THIS MAKES IT AN AWESOME LOCATION AND ITS WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE FOR SHOPPING, EATING, ENTERTAINMENT AND BUS ROUTES! I CAN SEE MYSELF STAYING HERE TILL IM DONE WITH SCHOOL ITS SO PERFECT FOR ME!! \r \r more

I lived at La Ventana Apartments located on University and Coal Place for 2 years and 2.5 months. I would not recommend that anyone rent from them. My experiences were largely decent up until the end, and that, within itself, was absolutely mind boggling. I am still baffled by what happened. I was not a good experience to say the least. As stated in a another review, everything they say changes like the wind and nothing is believable. The only reason I put any rating is because it is required!! more

When I first moved into Midtown I was worried that the building would be noisy since it located so close to UNM and CNM. I just assumed that it would be mostly students and would be a party place every night. I am so thankful that I was wrong! All of my neighbors are relatively quiet so I can get my studying done. more

i like my apt on maple and silver. its quiet. i can ride my bike to work and school. no problems with my naybers so i like it here. more

I moved into a really cool apartment on Lead and Terrace. Mine is a basement one, so it stays pretty cool in the summer. It was advertized as a studio, but it does have a private bedroom and it is huge for the low price of rent. My neighbors are also students and are pretty friendly. I really like this area and I cannot wait for the construction to be over. more

Watch out for the information given by this company. You will get conflicting stories from both the workers and management. What a waste of time and money for such small apartments and high rent...RENTERS BEWARE!!! more
