I have used these guys for years, Tom and the crew are the best in the area, and shame on those of you who are trying to slander them. They have serviced both my work and residence and have been very professional, curtious, top notch work to say the least. more

Dishonest and Incompetent -- Don't Even Think of Using Them! 12/4/2009

I would strongly agree with the other reviewers in that these guys are clearly at the bottom of the barrel in terms of pool service providers in California. They are dishonest, tricky, incompetent and opportunists. They should not be used in any capacity. After speaking with other pool service providers, pool inspectors, real estate agents and lawyers, these guys are no longer on people's recommend provider list. They are shifty and will look to quickly cash in on any opportunity to screw the consumer. If you were smart, you would stay as far away from Tom and Dan as possible. Trust me, I just wasted 1000s of dollars that I will never get back because of these guys. Pros: None Cons: Too many to name, but mainly dishonesty and incompetence more

Well I have to agree with the first reviewer. I am thinking the person below me has no idea what good workmanship is nor has ever been in contact with the construction industry. These guys epitomize what I detest about general contractors. more

Best Contractor in the Valley 4/10/2008

I could not disagree more with the comment below. I came to write a great review, and was shocked to see there was someone who left a bad one, as it seems to be the consensus around the valley that Lucas is the best in Napa. Not only did we have Lucas Pools built our custom, amazing, infinity edge beauty, but we have them service it weekly as well. We have only had one problem with a pool filter, and they came out and fixed it immediately and happily. The owner, Tom, is a great down to earth guy that embodies the true hard-working, quality minded ethics of Napa Valley. I am SO please we decided to go with Lucas, and will recommend them whole-heartedly to anyone looking for a pool or service! Pros: Best work in the valley. Great work ethic. Cons: Supply shop could use an update (sorry guys), but other than that, none. more

Terrible service, terrible work bad customer service 1/22/2008

I would never recommend these guys to anyone. They did terrible tile work, tiles coming off, remote broke. They would not service my pool and it wasn't even a year old. I would never do business nor recommend them to anyone. Pros: NONE Cons: Bad workmanship, bad attitude, terrible customer service more
