Love Overboard Kennels

Yes, Love Overboard doesn't have all the frills and whistles of expensive kennels, but their personnel make up for it--kind and loving folks. I was somewhat hesitant when I first took my dog there, but the proof was how well my dog looked when I picked him up and then the cherry on top was when we went back the next time--my dog was excited to go back. He lept out of the car wagging his tail and raced for the door to get in. The care providers at Love Overboard give my dog lots of attention. They've added extra kennels in the back and do provide park walks. My dog has always been well treated at Love Overboard and I have used them for several years.\r They are a great deal and are very accommodating in drop off and pick up times. more

I recently visited Love Overboard Kennels located in downtown Chapel Hill/ Carrboro. Although the location is extremely convenient, I thought the facility was very run-down and small. The lobby had a strong odor and there was only a small strip of sand in the back where dogs can run. The staff was very friendly, but I would not take my dog back. The rates seem pretty reasonable, but not worth the price if your dog comes home very stressed and unhappy. more
