Lotus Inn China Bistro

2/20/2014\r I'd put a big ZERO STAR but I had to put in ONE STAR! Never, ever in my life have I ever, ever been so upset! The C-R-A-Z-Y tall woman who works there (claims to be the owner but I believe it is her husband,) called my 84-year-old mother a LIAR and hung up the phone on her just because she called to say, ""You forgot to include my Almond Cookies."" Whenever I have ordered on the phone for delivery, I have ALWAYS been put on the defensive by this insane, mentally distubed, sadistic TYRANT! \r \r This time, she went WAY TOO FAR insuliting my 84-year old mother who she upset immensly! We will NEVER, EVER GO BACK! I was SO LIVED I got in my car and went down there and FINALLY gave her a piece of my mind! She went into a complete psycho tyrade and called me many cusre words and told me I was fat and jealous of her! OMG! Are you kidding me? I told her she needed intensive therapy and years and years of Anger Management treatment - BIG TIME, and that she was a very, very, very mean girl! I ALMOST CALLED THE POLICE after she chased me out to my car! \r \r Read the other reviews about the rats running across dine-in customers' feet and how one guy believed he ate a coach roach! The place was DESERTED when I went down and I yelled at her, ""No wonder why, Lady. You are unhinged!"" Also feel free to read about all the other people who quit going there because they couldn't take her aggressiveness or her psycotic behavior one more time! Do NOT go here! Turn around and run AS FAST AS YOU CAN! The China Bistro across the street is wonderful and will not make you feel like you are in an insane asylum!!!\r \r Oh, and if you don't believe me, PAH-LEEZE check out YAHOO! Travel! I was super impressed with the Lotus Inn! I've been getting deliveries and takeout form another Chinese restaurant for years, but when they didn't answer their phone the other day I thought I'd try Lotus Inn. I'm kicking myself now - the food was FANTASTIC. We ordered the Singapore Noodles (AMAZING), the Mongolian Beef (AMAZING) and the Orange Chicken (AMAZING). I can't believe I never gave them a call before, but the Lotus Inn is definitely my new favorite Chinese bistro and I look forward to becoming a new, loyal customer. more

When I first walked in I noticed that the restaurant had an upscale feel to it. The booths, tables, chairs, and carpeting looked new. The bar was shining clean. I went on a Saturday and was pleasantly surprised to see they still were offering lunch specials. I ordered the chicken with pea pods and steamed rice. It came with an eggroll and soup, but not won ton, even when I offered to pay extra for won ton soup, the waiter said no. The food arrived steaming hot and very fresh. It tasted delicious and had plenty of sauce. The egg roll was okay, a little dry and crunchy, some hot mustard probably would have helped. The portion was really big and the price was reasonable. I would definitely eat here again. more

Lotus is a great chinese restaurant. Unlike most chinese restaurants, this restaurant has a very upscale feel to it, without the high price. The food is delicious and the service is great. Great place to sit and have lunch or dinner with a date, friends or family. Its definitely my favorite chinese restaurant. Pros: Romantic, Delicious Food, Parking Cons: Noisy on weekends more
