Lotus Garden Chinese Restaurant

The food has been much better and faster the past times used. This time it took ONE HOUR & FIFTY MINUTES to get to our home. If it weren't that I am disabled & can no longer drive in the dark, I could have made the trip and back, more than 5 times. The delivery guy was very apologetic and explained that the restaurant probably had gotten backed up, but still, 110 minutes! The food was lukewarm at best. We ordered two complete meals, got one fortune cookie, after paying nearly $30 including tax & delivery fee. I did tip the delivery guy 20% as it wasn't his fault. I still gave 4 stars based on past meals. Had I on this experience, it would have been 2 stars for the slow delivery time, less than lukewarm food, shorting us a fortune cookie per meal (2nd time that happened), and small amount of steak in hibachi steak meal. Lotus Garden, if they read this, should comp us a meal or at least give us a coupon. more

We ordered a bunch of different things and it was all very good. Just be warned that if you order something from the hibachi for delivery some of the juice is gonna get all over the bag. more

Well, what can I say? This was the second time we ordered from GrubHub and we were totally blown away. The ease of ordering was exceptional. Everything was fully disclosed as we ordered...what each item consisted of and how much it cost. You could indicate any special instructions at the time of order. This is great!\r \r They indicated the preparation and delivery would take about and hour. It actually took about 30 minutes, which was terrific because we were totally hungry for ?Chinese Food?. Also the guy that delivered the food was first class and intensely courteous. \r \r We had Teriyaki Chicken with fried rice and Moo Goo Gia Pan with fried rice and egg rolls. The food portions were more than enough and were delicious. We had some left over which I ate the next day for lunch. The only complaint we had is they shorted us one egg roll but what the hey! It will not stop me from ordering from them again. I highly recommend the Lotus Garden Chinese Restaurant. You won?t be disappointed! more
