OK for Steak if you like Cigarette smoke! Blech! 7/29/2005

Although the food is good here, I can't recommend this steakhouse! We were seated in the NON-smoking section but the entire place still REAKED of cigarette smoke! When I complained to the management, they said there was nothing to be done about it! NOT a good place to go, unless you like to smell like an ashtray! more

Best Steakhouse in KC! 6/12/2005

We LOVE steak & so needless to say we have been to almost every steakhouse in KC, Longhorn has always teated us as friends not customers both at the Lee's Smmit location (which was our first fabulous exprience with this company) and the Belton location(Which we frequent most often). They have a wide variety of side orders and appetizes to go along with fantastic cuts of meat.....My husband is a big fan of T-bones and it is a rare find to have someone cook bonein meat properly but has alway had luck (on the first try ) with Longhorn!....Another big plus to us is they are VERY kid friendly! The kids always feel welcome & enjoy going to LONGHORN for their specially prpared child sized steak!! (comes with fruit and french fries so both mom & babies are happy!! I would definatly reccommend this restaurant to ANYONE! PROS: happy workers Kid friendly CONS: it is a steakhouse so there is alcohol & smoke in the atmosphere! more
