I was there with a friend and I ordered a Medium Well Porterhouse (the most expensive plate in the menu) what I got was a VERY well done steak- burned actually all over the edges!...

I was there with a friend and I ordered a Medium Well Porterhouse (the most expensive plate in the menu) what I got was a VERY well done steak- burned actually all over the edges!!, very dry, very hard to cut through, when the waitress came and asked if everything was OK?, I told her if i had ask for a medium well? (just in case I didn't) and she said yes, and she looked at mine and said, let me replace it, that is definitely not medium well! well, it took 25 minutes to bring me another steak, which was not medium well NO PINK AT ALL! but I was not going to wait another 25 minutes, my friend had finished eating, I wasn't even hungry then, and no one apologize for the wait, my friend ended up helping me with mine, because I couldn't finish it, after waiting that long. Would I go back? probably yes, but I was not happy today, even worse that no one apologized for the long wait! and although they may have been busy, I had already waited 45 minutes to get in! (no joke!) more

Great steaks and service 8/13/2011

I have eaten at Longhorn 3 times now, and decided to let you know of my experiences. Each time I was seated in a different area, with different waiters and waitresses, every time - they were great! My most recent visit was during one of the freaky afternoon thunderstorms. I ran in, drenched from head to foot, and was seated immediately. The waiter was friendly, pleasant and never made me feel rushed, even though it was during a busy dinner hour. I ordered a steak with salad. One thing is certain - this place is consistenly good, not only on the food, but the service as well. I enjoy eating here and will definitely go back. Enjoy! more
