If you purchase an extended warranty from any dealership, they are legally required to refund the prorated difference that was not used (in terms of miles/time). Nissan of Garden City works the price of the warranty into the final sales price. They do not specify in writing how much you are paying for the warranty.
Even if you are aware that you are paying 2,000-4,000 for it and the shady finance person (Daniel Garcia) makes you aware, if it is not in writing, they can dispute how much you paid for it.
I spent a year dealing with Nissan Consumer Affairs and two other divisions, BBB and a lawyer. I won't see any of my refund back, but I want this dealership to stop scamming people. I've warned every kid I teach, tutor, coach, friends, family and colleagues about this place. I know for a fact from people who have purchased Nissan vehicles from other dealerships that I've lost them tens of times the amount of money that they stole from me.
Nissan makes great vehicles... just go somewhere more honest.
