I recently needed to move from my brownstone in Park Slope to a house I bought in Montauk, Long Island. A good friend who knew about my upcoming relocation recommended Lone Star Moving. I just can't emphasize enough what a marvelous experience I've had with them. I spoke with the owner Renee, a wonderful lady, who set-up a move date that was convenient for my work schedule. Everything from there on went seamlessly. The workers came in early, and impressed me with their professionalism from the start. They were courteous and respectful. They packaged and delivered everything with delicate care. I just want to show my appreciation and thank Lone Star Moving for making my life transition as smooth as possible. I especially want to thank Paul, Mo, Mike, Billy, and Ken. Without a doubt Lone Star is a top notch moving company. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs to move. more

My family and I moved from Batter Park to Tribecalast week with Lonestar NYC Moving Company. It is weren't for this company I don't know what we would have done. \r Unfortunately, I read all the online reviews about this moving company as was impressed with them automatically.\r \r Paul our foreman and his team of 3 other movers were polite, upbeat, organized and extremely professional. They wrapped all our furniture to protect against damages (at no extra charge) and took such great care of all our belongings.\r \r When we called initially for a moving quote I spoke with Renee Cuocco. She was pleasant, well educated, friendly and super professional as well.\r \r The lines of communication were always open and remained consistent. This professionalism made our moving day simple and easy.\r \r I will not hesitate to contact this moving company to move us again and will gladly refer their services.\r \r Not the cheapest of moving companies, but I feel well worth the money. Lonestar was a great moving company! They arrived on time and packed up all my furniture and boxes efficiently. Living in NYC makes moving and finding parking very difficult. They did not complain, but instead were joking around with us and having fun while working. They beat us back to the new house and the unpacking was very efficient. They even moved other things we asked them to that were already in the house. I definitely recommend them to anyone! more

Hi Renee, I will like to say a great big THANK YOU to the crew,Paul,Carlos and Cliff who moved me on 6/29/12,from Brooklyn to Queens.They were superb,came on time,and worked hard,non-stop.They never stopped to eat,no matter how I tried to encourage them to have a sandwich.They ate on the way to Queens.The day was very hot,and the move took 5.5hrs.yet these guys never stopped or slowed down.They were totally professional,very friendly,and took good care of everything.I picked this company only from the reviews,and was not disappointed.I will highly recommend that crew.Anyone who is moving,should ask for Paul,Cliff,and Carlos,their teamwork is superb,and their personalities outstanding.Great job guys,and thank you Renee,my move was hassle-free.Thank you Paul for attempting to hook up my washer,I did go out and buy new hoses as you suggested.I can't wait to refer Lonestar Moving.to anyone I know planning a move.Good luck guys and may God bless and keep you safe. Lone*Star Moving LLC helped me save money. I was looking for the cheapest local Long Island mover, but they had to be licensed and insured. So I did some research on the Internet and found Lone*Star Moving LLC, a local licensed and insured Long Island mover. They had the cheapest prices and the best reviews so I went with them. I was so surprised they did such a great job for the price. I will choose Lone*Star Moving LLC any time I have moving work or maintenance jobs more

Lonestar Moving Rocked! Great Rates and Great Service 5/7/2012

These guys rocked! I picked them because of their solid reputation and insurance, even though they are on the pricier end of the scale. They are well worth it. After watching these guys work I would never recommend hiring a cheap mover as you get what you pay for. I moved a 1 BR w/ alcove that was jam-packed with stuff into a 2.5 BR, both on the 3rd floor, about 5 blocks apart. I really wanted to be completely packed, and I was nowhere near that. They rocked it with their wardrobe boxes, and extra boxes on hand. They arrived early and got to work immediately! 3 guys moved my chaos (including a fridge) in about 5 hours. They worked like horses and carried about the weight of a horse on their backs, well, except the fridge. That they all helped with. :) I am definitely hiring Lonestar Moving next time I have to move. THANK YOU LONE STAR! more

Lonestar Moving was very professional and affordable 4/11/2012

Last week we moved with Lonestar Brooklyn Movers as was very pleased with their services. This Brooklyn Moving Company was not our first choice of movers as we hired another company which cancelled on us the day before. I won’t even get into that. So, I called Lonestar and spoke with Renee in the office, she was so helpful and nice. We went over all the details everywhere from our exact inventory, etc. There were no hidden moving costs. She explained in full detail our hourly rate and how it worked. When our movers arrived, our foreman Jim sat down with us for approx 10 minutes and went over our rate and their services worked. This communication process really put our minds at ease. Once we signed our moving day began. It went smoothly, professionally and all our movers were very pleasant and careful. I was so happy we used these Brooklyn Movers. After reviewing their website, I knew they would bring to the table exactly what they offer. Not only was this Moving Company extremely honest and professional, they take pride in their people and their clients. Our foreman was in constant contact with Renee in the office so we were all on the same page. Even when we did not mention all the items, they did not get angry, they worked with us like a team. I would strongly suggest using these Brooklyn Movers as they are the best moving company New York has to offer. Thanks again….. more

We had the best movers! Go with Lonestar Moving!!! 4/7/2012

Renee, Just want you to know how pleased we were with my mother's move from the Bronx to Manhattan on Wednesday, March 21.. The move went smoothly and seamlessly and was not at all stressful. Jorge and his crew, Jonny, Brian and Chris, were very efficient, polite and courteous and worked at a quick pace. They faced obstacles, but were able to deal with them in a professional manner The obstacles were: Dealing with double parked cars in the Bronx. 5 flights of stair in the Bronx. Heavy traffic due to Second Avenue subway construction work. Closing of streets resulting in the truck parking about a block away. A destination timeframe of 10 to 11:30 to move in -- Lone Star arrived around 11 a.m.. and was able to complete the job even though a smoke detector went off, and the fire department came and shut down the elevators for about 10 minutes. . Once everything was moved in, Brian and Chris were great about putting things where we wanted them and assembling a bookcase. It was a pleasure doing business with you, Jorge, Jonny, Brian and Chris. My friends and family know how pleased I am. If anyone needs a moving company recommendation, Lone Star Moving will get very high accolades from me. Thank you for all your help. more

Thank you Lonestar Moving for a Fine job! 3/8/2012

Good Morning Renee, On Thursday, 3/1 my fiancée Kelly and I had Paul and Jason for our move from Levittown to West Babylon (with a pit stop in Bethpage). I just wanted to follow up with you to let you know that they did a terrific job! We had more than a few large, bulky items that needed to be moved from a 2nd floor apt. through a narrow hallway (and cold, rainy weather all day on top of it). Not an easy job. The fellas got us all packed up and moved with no damage to any of our items or property. About the only problem I can find is that Paul is a Dallas fan. Anyway, real nice job, we would highly recommend your moving company to friends and family. more

I recommend this New York Moving Company! Great Service..... 1/31/2012

The movers from Lonestar Moving LLC were really excellent and made my moving day hassle free! The total price was $485. They arrived to my old apartment and assured me that it would be quick and hassle free. They organized everything with the old apt building in new york city and the new apartment building in brooklyn. The amount came in less than anything I was quoted by other movers. Total move took 4 hours.Jorge was the foreman on the job and really took control and made sure it was hassle free. The other 2 men were very nice and executed the move very well. I didn't have any broken furniture or other items. Thank you again for a fantastic moving day Anyone looking for movers in New York, do not hesitate to contact Lonestar Moving. more
