Not reliable!!! 2/17/2012

Called to get a Grandfather Clock moved, set up a time and a price, I verified with Josh on the time and date. They did not show up, I tried to call, just got the answering machine. They never did show up and never called back. Do youself a favor and bypass these guys. more

Do Not Use This Mover!!!! 2/6/2012

My pregenant wife of triplets and I booked their services for this past weekend and they NEVER SHOWED UP..I called on 3 ocassions and spoke to Josh..They were scheduled for 5pm, NO SHOW, I called them they rescheduled for 7pm, NO SHOW, I called them, they rescheduled for 9pm NO SHOW...I called them back until 10:30pm that same night wondering what was going on while my wife and I sat at home in boxes WAITING!!, they NEVER answered the phone again, never called back that night, NOT even the next day.., NEVER APOLOGIZED!! Bad way to do business, I am a business owner in S.A for 16 years and would NEVER treat customers like this.I called AAA Discount movers & Frank and Fred, they showed up as they said they would and did a PROFESSIONAL job.Do NOT use this Company. more

Best Movers in San Antonio! 1/11/2012

Lone Star Movers Moving Company in San Antonio is very courteous and professional. I've moved several times and this was the best move by far. I recommend them in every way - they are on top of the job and really lovely people, which does make a difference. All my stuff arrived in good condition and it was a pleasure working with them. They go above and beyond in service and their prices are better than others - look at all what you get and you'll see the same. more

San Antonio's Best Moving Company 1/11/2012

Very Courteous when i was scheduling my move, the management was great and very understanding about my situation. Just moved back to Texas from Virginia and was waiting for my house to be built, was ready a week earlier then i had scheduled and LoneStar Moving Co. went out fo their way to accomidate me and sent a crew out right away. The employees were very respectful, clean cut and hard workers. The price was great and saved me several hundred dollars than any other Movers quoted me. I will recommend this company to anyone looking for good dependable movers that will take the best care of your belongings as if they were their own. None of my belongings even had a scratch on them and most of it is all antiques. Thank you LoneStar Moving Co. more

Professional Movers at an Affordable Price! 1/11/2012

Moving is never fun! But this time I used Lone Star Movers Moving Company and they made it a much less stressful experience. The professionalism and honesty made a big difference for me. I moved a few times in the last few years and this is the second time I am not putting my friends to work for pizza. My last move was with a no name, very cheap company, ended up being an awful experience, so this time I have decided to go with Lone Star Movers since I saw their trucks all over. I am glad to say it was a smart move (tap myself on the back). It was more expensive than last time but SO much easier. No breakage, no waiting for the movers for 3 hours, just pure moving. They wrapped everything, moved it all with no complaints and charged what I was quoted. Next time I would not even think twice before calling them. more

I'd trust them again 6/7/2011

My family has passed down some heirlooms that require the utmost delicacy, so I really spent some time searching for a company I could trust. A friend highly recommended Lone Star Moving after a positive experience with a big move. I'm so thankful I took the recommendation. It was so nice to see real attention being paid to the little details that matter when you're dealing with old, quality furniture. I would absolutely recommend Lone Star. more

Even better than last time 6/7/2011

This is the second time I've been moved by Lone Star Moving Co. and I'm even more pleased this time. The movers were young and fit, but seemed to have real experience. The price wasn't exactly cheap, but it was fair considering how much furniture I've got. Most importantly, my things were handled properly -- blanketed, wrapped, and stowed smartly. No compaints here. Lone Star did the job right. more

Fast, and Efficient Movers! 6/6/2011

Great job I just had a local move with a two man crew and this team was fabulous. I have done a lot of moving and I have never had such an easy time. They were efficient, friendly and cooperative. I was also afraid I would get over charged on the long drive time but they almost beat us there! The whole thing took about 5 hours. Great job guys! \r more

Superb Service 6/6/2011

I'm not easily impressed. But the people from Lone Star have done what many have tried, and few have accomplished -- I'm actually taking time to write a favorable review, and of a moving company at that! Pinch me, I think I'm dreaming. \r \r The guys were so efficient and careful, and so very courteous. My things made it to the new place in the same condition they left in. And my wife didn't have to plug her ears everytime a mover walked in the room for fear of hearing yet another disgustingly inventive curse word to describe female anatomy. \r \r Thanks so much, Lone Star. You guys were great! more

Not recommended - poor customer service 5/22/2011

Overall a very unpleasant experience. I needed to move in a hurry, and called Lonestar as they indicated on their web page that they can do short-notice moves. Told them I needed them to pack and move a 2-bedroom apt. Was told they would be there by 5pm on Wednesday, and then again Thursday morning. At around 5:30 PM on Wednesday they had not show up, so I call them. Am told they are running 1.5 hours late. I say OK, let's just do this Thursday. They were supposed to show up at noon on Thursday. At 12:30 no one has shown up, so I call the office. I get voicemail. I assume they may be at lunch, so call again at 1 PM. Voicemail again. Try again at 1:15, and leave a VM asking them to call me. Call again in intervals of 15-30 minutes, and leave additional voice mails. Movers finally show up at 2:45. At no time did the office manager call me back.\r \r The movers that showed up were in a small van, and informed me that they had been told it was a 1-bedroom apt, instead of 2-bedroom. They were supposed to do packing as well as moving, but brought insufficient materials. Even if this had been a 1-bedroom, they did not have enough boxes for that. Also, there was no way they were going to be able to do packing and moving in the time allotted. We ended up doing most of the packing. About 2 hours later, a second team arrives with a larger van, and things move a bit faster.\r \r I was not upset at the actual movers - they did the best they could with a bad situation. However, the management of this company is really bad. They NEVER returned my calls. I understand that things may make them late, but they should keep the customer informed. Very poor customer service. I will never use them again, nor can I recommend them to anyone. more

Great 5 star service,thank you guys... 4/27/2011

I was moving furniture and personal goods from my father's home into a Care Home in San Antonio. Lone Star Movers came on time, moved everything very quickly and safely. When I met them at the Care Home their service was great. Moved everything in very quickly and even helped me decide where the furniture was going to go. Nothing was too much trouble. They were courteous, hardworking and extremely helpful. I would recommend them to anyone. more

Local San Antonio Movers Customer Service is Outstanding!!! 12/4/2010

I would refer Lone Star Movers Moving Company to anyone looking at moving. These guys came to my home gave me a free estimate, and kept me informed every step of the way. I was in the military for 14 years and have moved several times, and enjoyed the pampering of the military moving me, Lone Star movers did just that, they came packed all my stuff with caution, and even protected my mattresses from getting damaged or dirty during transport. Great Movers, with an even Better Price!!! 12/3/2010

I recently used Lone Star Movers Moving Company. They arrived on time, took care of all my furniture by wrapping it. Took great caution with my doorways, and walls. All in all I'm rating these guys a five. They kept me notified every step of the way, from initial reservation to completion, and even finished it in under the estimated time.
