Any other review that you may read other than mine has got to be from their competition. I have been in the Moving and Storage business for over 40 years holding positions as high as CEO and owner. These folks are the best I have ever come across in all aspects. Service was quick, customer service was even better and quite frankly, I do not know how some of these other auto transport can stay in business when there are people and companies like Lone Star out there. Look out Reindeer, Dependable Auto Shippers, Auto Boat Relocation and every other high priced, undependable car carriers. Every chance I get to promote Lone Star, I will. This is not a 5 star review it's a 10 star review. Thank you Kathy, and the driver!!! more

They DAMAGE Your Car 3/16/2011

Let me start by saying my one-star rating is too generous. \r \r The company was helpful PRIOR to transporting my car. However, they have been outright HOSTILE AFTER transport. They have never responded to any of my phone calls or emails when I found damage to my car.\r \r This awful company promised to deliver the car in 9 days. However, they strung us along for an additional 9 days (it took 18 days to deliver our car). During this time, they promised us 5 times they will deliver it on that 9th day. After repeated phone calls to them (they did not have the decency to call us to provide updates), we found out their transport trailer was broken down 100 miles from our location. During these extra 9 days, they refused to put the car on a different trailer and deliver the car. They were late beyond their original range of delivery times, even though the car sat only 100 miles away.\r \r Their excuse for the delay? An ""act of God"" - their transmission broke down and they could not deliver any of the cars. Excuse me? If they kept their transport trailers well-maintained, they would have avoided transmission problems. Since when is mechanical failure an ""act of God?\r \r They finally delivered the car in the darkness of the night. Here's why they prefer late night deliveries - so that you cannot see the DAMAGE they caused to your car during their transport!\r \r I fully inspected my car during daylight hours the next day and found severe DAMAGE to my paint. They NEVER responded to my repeated calls and emails requesting acknowledgement of the damage.\r \r So there you have it - they have the worst customer service after they have DAMAGED your car. I would give this place a negative 10 rating and vehemently discourage anyone from using this company. more

Beware: car damaged in transport 9/3/2009

Audi A6 was severely damaged in transport. Company did not represent that signing of bill of lading upon delivery relieved them of any responsibility for repair. So, when we found undercarrage damage 72 hours later, they refused to pay for repair or provide any financial reimbursement. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND DOING BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. Stay away from this transport service! 2/11/2008

I would avoid this auto transport company at all costs. They damaged my vehicle when something corrosive from a car above dripped on my paint and cracked and peeled it. The car was deliver filthy and after washing a couple days later they accepted no responsibility. They would not send someone out to even look at damage that was reported. Difficult to deal with. I would pay a little more and get a true professional service to move your vehicles if needed. This company has no idea what customer service is all about. I hope this saves someone else from my headaches. Pros: Deliver 1 out of 2 cars without damaging. Cons: Poor service, poor communication, no understanding of customer service. more
