This place is really expensive but the only good things about it are the spaciousness of the apartments and the location. The have a decent maintenance staff but that's the bare minimum. Beyond that the leasing office staff are rude and incompetent and have botched the most basic things like, say, having our renewal lease paperwork prepared by our renewal date despite being given tons of advance notice. Massive staff turnover. 5 General building managers in 3.5 years and the turnover among leasing office staff is so high that it creates all kinds of administrative problems, because you will make arrangements with one but they won't convey them to their replacement.\r

They take away amenities unilaterally but continue to charge the same rent and amenity fee. 24 hour fitness facility is a joke. There is no 24 hour concierge. We had one, they got rid of it without asking us. Makes it really difficult to pick up packages. Visitor parking is a nightmare.\r

Noise is a huge problem. More and more recent college grads have been moving into Normandy House so there are always noisy parties every weekend. Construction next door (bldg is owned by same landlord, who knows about our complaints and just doesn't care) has been going on for over a year and is miserable. It sounds like there's jack hammering inside my apartment. The noise is so bad that I've decided to move this year even though I've lived here for years. Don't move here. There are better options for the same money.
