Everyone should ask 1 question before you have your dog stay overnight. Do you mind if they spend 23 hours in a cage?? I didn't ask if he was going to be able to go outside...that is my fault because I assumed that was the case. No wonder it was only $30 per night. My dog has been sad ever since and he doesn't want to go into his crate at home now. Ask a lot of question and if it is less money the the place down the street find out why. This will cost us way more money now. I hope he will get back to normal soon. I will never make this mistake again. more

I've been a client of Lombard Veterinary Hospital for over 23 years. In all this time, I've never once have had a poor experience. They are the friendliest, most caring professional group of doctors I've ever encountered. I've had absolutely the best experience from normal every year routines to the more concerning moments to even having to put my loved ones down. I am so thankful that I have found such a wonderful place! more

The good thing about this hospital are the hours they are open and possibly Dr. Bergsten who has a PhD in veterinary teaching. \r \r This is a routine care hospital ONLY; good for yearly shots and general well-being. \r \r Because my mama taught me that if you can't say something nice don't say anything at all, I have no other comment. more

We have been clients for over 19 years, and have nothing but great things to say about the professional and friendly service we (and our animals) receive! We had a cat with a very threatening health problem, and the doctors did a very difficult surgery on him and did an excellent job. The post care was wonderful also. We have always taken our pets here, and will continue to do so. I would highly recommend this Veterinary Clinic! more

Lombard Veterinary Hospital gives sufficient care if you are just looking for yearly check-ups and vaccinations for your pets. If your pet is ill, has an emergency, or needs surgery, I would never recommend taking them to this facility. Their emergency care is virtually non-existent, their diagnostic abilities are definitely sub-par, and I would never take any pet there for surgery. I had been taking three pets there for over ten years and was very contented with the care until all three started having medical problems. One dog went undiagnosed with cancer for at least a year, another received an infection during surgery, and a third was left unattended for fourteen hours overnight when admitted to the medical area., and had to be euthenized. Don't ever leave your pet overnight in any facility and if it is absolutely necessary make sure that they have 24 hour supervision. more
