Logan Square Hand Car Wash & Detailing

Hello, I am Marlena Farkis, and I am turning 85 tomorrow, so my son took me to get my Cadillac cleaned and detailed yesterday. I just wanted to say I was so pleased with the excellent young boys that clean the cars, they were very polite to me and even offered me a chair to sit down while my car was being washed. A very nice gentleman (the one with the white hair and plaid shirt) came and brought me an iced tea from the store. What nice people! You don't find that kind of service these days. I brought my car here yesterday after the snow storm and I was absolutely DELIGHTED with the careful job they did on my car! I have a black car, and they cleaned off every speck of salt and even fixed some minor scratches on the hood for me. My neighbor saw my shiny (and salt-free) car and she is taking hers to Logan Square for a wash right now! The staff here was extra helpful and pleasant, and they didn't take shortcuts or skip over anything like the other car washes I've been to in Chicago. To top it off, while you wait, you can even pick up a pizza and beer for dinner, right there in the car wash! Thank you Logan Square - I'll be back! Pros: Great service and price more

\r Greetings,\r \r I bought a new SUV last month. An Equinox (Cardinal Red) After a couple of weeks in beautiful Chicago January, it looked probably 30,000 miles old. I love my car so i take it to have it machine washed 2 times per week. The new car syndrome. The problem with machine wash is the work i have to do afterwards. The majority of the dirst comes off, but all the touch ups takes forever! \r \r Soo, i went to Logan Wash on friday. I think it was 5 or 6 guys working my vehicle during the 20 minutes i was there. Hello Bluebook value!!!! My car actually looked brand spanking new! even smelled new afterwards. i went with a 14 dollar package!\r \r It had 400 miles on it when i bought it, but today it looks factory new. I will be back. Had a slize of pizze while i was waiting. Yes, they actually have a fast food joint there as well! See you soon! I CAME IN EXPECTING JUST TO GET A WASH, AND TO MY SURPRISE ,I WAS AWED TO SEE ALL THE DIFFERENT THINGS GOING ON , FROM THE DETAILING,TO THE FOOD MART. I went to have a simple inside & out cleaning for my car, and while they hurriedly and frantically washed my car, they slammed the trunk so hard that the latch broke and it would not stay shut. Instead of immediately alerting me of the situation (I was sitting right there watching!), they continued to slam the trunk over and over until I finally went over to stop them. I realized what had happened and asked what they would do about it. The manager (I guess he's the manager....he's the only one who spoke English) said to go next door to an auto shop to confirm what the problem was and to see if they could fix it. After doing that, I went right back to the car wash and told him the problem (broken latch caused my slamming the trunk) and the cost of repair ($140). Then the manager refused to pay anything for the repair and wouldn't even listen to me. They wouldn't even reimburse me for the $13 car wash that ended up costing me $153!! The manager was completely rude and the whole place is rather shady...supposedly the owner is never around and can't be contacted. Never go to this place! ok, so I'm writing a review for a car wash, but there is a reason, we tend to get ripped off by other car washes anywhere north of Madison, this place is a great price and my SUV was actually clean when I left. Pros: great price and location more
