Local Splash

Local Splash is such a joke of a company! I was a client of theirs for an entire year and they kept telling me that my account has ""just one more thing to update"" and then I should be on the first page of google. I wanted to cancel my account so many times but their sales people kept being very nice and telling em these great stories about why I should stay and how I'm only weeks away from getting all this business. I called in every month to get my credit and somehow they still managed to get $800 out of me without my permission. When I called to ask why I was billed they kept making up excuses that made no sense at all. They refuse to give me a refund after taking my money without permission. I will always advise people to stay away from them. more

Local Splash has been awful to work with. For a new small business owner, Local Splash took well over $400 that I could have used towards a SEO company that actually provided me results and better customer service. Thank you for cancelling my account finally. more

Very unimpressed with Local Splash. I would highly suggest staying far, far away. They did not do what was promised, they would not refund my money, and it was almost impossible to cancel my account. The Customer Service Agents are friendly, but will not listen to what I say. I was on the phone for 30 minutes just trying to cancel my account. The actual cancellation took 1 minute. Would not recommend Local Splash for your SEO needs. more

Has a VERY rude salesperson hang up the phone on me when I told her I already had a SEO company. I called back to speak to a manager and believe I just got one of the regular workers on the phone and he was NO help whatsoever. I then contacted the BBB to complain about them and they LIED to the BBB about what happened. They are claiming to have 4 recordings of my conversation (when they only spoke to me ONCE), but I would LOVE to hear the alleged recordings they have. more

I run a small bussiness and that I would try a different SEO Co and give Local Splash a chance, from the moment I started bussiness with them it has been a nightmare. Not only is it not easy to get a hold of anyone there, once you do get to talk to someone they are little to no help. I worked with them for 6 weeks, which by the way is how long they promise it takes your website to rank, and in that time I had frustrating phone call after frustrating phone call. I finally cancelled my service with them, or atleast thought I had and then was flooded with emails about my account being past due. A month after cancelling I was continually charged for service. My biggest complait is communication with in the company, I would get different and wrong price quotes and information. When I would try to make changes to the account it never happend, I would call back and they had no record of my phone calls and changes. The staff is also very pushy and not helpful. Just all around frustrating. Far to many options to waste time on this company. I would never recommend there business to anyone. more

I own a very small company and try to answer every single phone call that comes in. Local Splash has there- robot dialer call me every single day!! Each time they call, I hit the button to remove me from the list. They keep calling. Today I talked to somebody and he was rude. I can't stand companies like this. They cost everybody money and time. more

Company has been in business since 2004 with high tech, hands-on account management that is unparalleled in service. Horrible to see the competitors that prey on this company. Be careful to investigate the claims of less that reputable gun-slingers that are notorious for bringing a bad name to marketing local businesses online. more

This company is a disgrace to all real, legitimate SEO companies. They flat out lied about what kind of service they were going to provide. They made very large promises and were not able to produce a thing. Please don't use this company. They screwed me and I hope that nobody else gets the same treatment. more

This company is horrible. They call off of other marketing companies campaigns and then you get charged for these calls. they are NOTORIOUS and cal you several times a day. They claim to guarantee top placement, but no company can, and GOOGLE even states this.
