Liuzza's - The perfect place for a real New Orleans Lunch! 8/18/2005

Famous for serving their beverages in frozen glasses, it’s hard to find a better casual atmosphere for a New Orleans lunch. Everything that I have tried from their daily specials to the roast beef sandwich has been delicious. It gets my vote for one of the best Roast Beef sandwiches in the city. This place at lunch time has friendly service and the stereotypical characters from all around the city. A parking lot also makes it very convenient! I’d highly recommend to any tourist or local. more

new orleans style place 7/27/2005

Atmosphere: Old Italian place for true new Orleans style food. Similar to Mandina’s, but a bit more cramped. Prices: They will take credit cards. Very inexpensive. Food: A very expansive menu, Italian dishes and new Orleans style food. Try a beer in a frosty mug! Service: Great wait staff. Location: mid-city on Bienville by Memorial hospital. more
