We tried Little Texas Bistro on the strength of one good review: MISTAKE! My husband decided to splurge a bit (for us) and ordered the ribeye (about $30). It was mostly fat and gristle. When the waiter asked how it was, my husband very nicely and politely told him it was unsatisfactory and in what way. We expected an offer - which didn't materialize - to replace it with another or a different entree. It never came. My husband asked the waiter later if he had had a chance to tell the chef about the meat. The waiter said he had. Want to guess whether we'll return or recommend the Bistro? I don't think we've had a worse experience at any Austin area restaurant. Pros: Polite wait staff Cons: Attitude more

Paul has taken a store front in Buda and made it a destination. Great care is taken in everything served, although it takes some time, we were in no hurry and there is a full bar. Venison to die for, duck that is out of this world, and don't miss the mobier wrapped in prosciutto as an app. we love this place. Pros: food, jeff the waiter, ambience more
