Little Ponderosa Child Care

Worst daycare in Dallas!! All they want is your money. After a 6 months of your child going there they get a week, we were told we already took our week. They lied to my boyfriend and when I went up their to get refunded the money they owed us for the week we supposedly took they told me it's their employees word against ours. Greedy people is all they are and I hope karma comes back to them. They say they teach your kids but hardly teach them anything, they just want you to pay extra money for learning.com for your kids to learn anything at the school. The owner Martha and her employee Tanya are very rude! Tanya is a liar and didn't offer us any alternative they pretty much screwed us and didn't give a damn because all they care about is getting your money!!!! more

I have experienced other daycare centers and Little Ponderosa is by far the best decision I've made. When I leave my children there I know I am leaving them in a safe and caring enviornment. The thing that drew me to Little Ponderosa is the low staff turnover. That says alot about a place. I know that my child will have a consistent caregiver that knows their needs because they have been there unlike other places with high staff turnover. This gives my children the opprotunity to form a bond with their caregiver. This is not a place that just "baby sits" your children. They nurture and teach. My Daughter has learned so much there. I am surprised when she comes home and says some of the things she does. She's 3, besides the ABC's and 123's, she has come home telling me things like "carnivores eat meat and herbavores eat plants" and "yellow and red make Orange". You can tell they put alot of time into the children not to mention that the owner is there everyday and so approachable making more

Let me start by saying that at first my experience at this day care was relieving. My family and I were going through somethings with my mom and I needed to put my kids in a well trusted daycare. After about 1 1/2 months I started worrying about my kids. First, they wanted to move my son from the infant room to the 18+ room and I let them. (I guess it was so that they could put another child in the infant room, therefore they make either "more" money or they had another 18+ month year old move up and needed to fill the spot to meet their quota). That's when all of the problems started surfacing. My child who was 16 months at the time was continuously being bit. (Let me say that my husband and I were VERY graceful). They kept apoligizing and we accepted. After being bit more than 5 times in a month span and 2 times were unreported (My Daughter is NOT a biter) my husband and I started to question what was actually happening in the room. My kids went to Little Ponderosa up until their preschool ages. This is very conveniently located just off of Highway 80, has very nice scenery and set-up. Staff is very helpful and friendly and security is very well maintained. Very clean and a place I would recommend to anyone in the area. more

Beautiful grounds and buildings. Wonderful staff. Seems like they actually care about your child. Only downfall is their hours. more

My nieces and nephew attended here a very long time. They always looked forward to going. It has the nicest play are in the city. It is gated and the security always seemed very maintained when I went to pick them up! more

A beautiful Child Care Center conveniently located on Beltline Rd. just North of Hwy. 80! We had a wonderful experience here, loved everyone! My kids enjoyed their time at Little Ponderosa and they are very reasonably priced, lower than many in the area! They do have after school pick up too! more
