This is a terrible daycare! My son was kicked out after being there one day! He wasn't even given a chance! This school honors students? I don't think so. I've been a teacher for 7 years and everything this center did was absolutely wrong and I reported them to the State & Licensing and I received a letter about a month ago saying they definitely found deficiencies and the center was now being investigated. The first day my son was there, I dropped him off, I called at lunch to check on him, and then I picked him up that afternoon. When I picked him up, the afternoon teacher looked at me and said ""Your son has had an attitude all afternoon"" and I said ""oh no!"" and she got in my face, so close to where I could feel her breathing on me and said ""Do you think I'm kidding!? You're little child has been a terror all afternoon!"" so as soon as I left I called and made a complaint against this so called ""teacher"" about her being so rude, and I was told the situation would be handled. ABout 7pm that night, I received a call from the owner telling me we needed to talk about my sons behavior today, and when I said ""What behavior"" she said, no one told you what happened this morning"" and I said ""no!"", and mention, I called at lunch time to check on him and the teacher told me everything was fine. The owner proceeded to tell me that my son kept trying to run out of the room that day. And I said ""okay.."" because I was confused. As a daycare teacher myself, we have kids who do that all the time. Especially when parent's leave. It's separation anxiety, and if you were a true, dedicated person in child care, you would know this, and she proceeded to tell me that my son would no longer be able to return to their center because he was a safety risk! Excuse me?! A safety risk? No, you're center is a safety risk, giving up on a child on their first day, kicking them out, and not being able to properly handle a situation. If there is a true safety risk, there is supposed to be a call to the parent and an incident report. I never received a phone call, and I never received an incident report on anything that happened. When I called, his teacher didn't even tell me what happened! Are you kidding me!?\r \r Needless to say, the center was just recently visited by Licensing because of what happened to my son, and they agreed with me that everything that happened was absolutely ridiculous, was not handled properly and they found deficiencies in the center and that they don't have things up to minimum standards. These are our children, and they deserve the best. This place is NOT the best! I believe I was targeted because I called and complained about their rude employee. \r \r If you're looking for a great center in New Braunfels, I highly recommend Brilliant Starts Learning Academy and Triple L Ranch! more

I have been working in preschools for over twenty years. This is one of the few schools I can honestly say cares about employees, students, and families. The staff works together to give individual quality care and education to each child. They form strong bonds with families and have open communication. They are willing to work with individual families on special needs or considerations. Each person is treated with honor and respect. Little Einsteins not only care for their families and employees, they also are very active in the community. Quality education and loving care abounds at this center.\r more

Can't believe we found this place! 4/19/2011

Two of my sons have been attending Little Einstein's for a year now and I couldn't be happier. They have a before and after school program which allows for me to drop them off at 7:30 am and pick them up at 6 pm - which means the world to me since I have to work late hours many days. And the price for it all is well below an average day care for that lot of time. But the kids get so much more out of it than they would a day care. My 4 year old who just turned 5, can read small books without help! He is constantly sounding out words he hears and spells them correctly! I have been amazed. My 3 year old who just turned 4 is counting in Spanish, telling me colors in Spanish. He knows his alphabet and can sound out words. We are moving at the end of this school year and we are all so disappointed to leave this school, but my 5 year old has a huge jump start for kindergarten!\r Keep up the good work Little Einsteins, and thank you so much for caring for my special boys! more

Great Daycare - and I tried a bunch 11/1/2010

We put my two kids in a several different daycare's in town and when we finally found little einstein's it was the sigh of relief we had hoped for. Excellent. Not sure what the bad reviewer may have experienced but I have never seen this behavior by staff and every incident my daughter was involved in (kids end up involved in incidents because they are kids!) they handled beautifully and sensitively. (I am suspicious of a person who was a previous, disgruntled employee of einsteins that even though she hates the owners still put her son in there. What does that tell you!) more

Excellent Preschool 9/23/2010

I just read the review written by NB Mom and couldn't believe it. I have two children at Little Einsteins and my experience there, along with many friends, couldn't be further from what was posted. I would like to share my experience concerning this school.\r \r The facility is clean and has an upbeat happy feeling to it when you walk in the door. The classrooms are decorated very cute and the manipulatives are age appropriate. It is not a new and fancy facility, but it is clean, safe, and professional while having a home feeling to it. My family is very comfortable here.\r \r The teachers that my chidren have had thus far have been certified, knowledgable, loving, and attentive. My children talk about their teachers every night at diner while discussing all the fun activies that they engaged in while at school. My children do not have discipline problems and only speak kindly of Mrs. Ford. As a matter of fact, they tell me that Mrs. Ford is funny and silly!\r \r The curriculum at the school is well written and organized. Last week when they were studing transportation my children went on a school bus and saw demostations by an ambulance perimedic and by firefighters with a fire truck. I love what my children are learning. The Spanish class with Mrs. Aleman is EXCELLENT. I must say, I am happy that the kids wear uniforms because the ""hands-on learning"" does get messy. My kids love to paint and glue!\r \r I did vote for Little Einsteins for day care of the year and did so on my own accord and with pride. I did receive a ballot from the school and was greatful for the note and chocolate hugs and kisses that were attached to it. It is these little details that make this schools such a special place. I highly recommed this school and it's teachers. more

I am a teacher and the quality of education coupled with the attentive, loving staff can not be topped! My children love going to school and love their teachers. 7/24/2008

I am a teacher and could not be happier with the education my children are experiencing at Little Einsteins. My children are learning so much and are excited to go to school each day. The teachers are happy to see my children, my kids are excited to tell me all that they've learned, and the atmosphere is professional yet loving. I am so happy to see how excited my kids are about learning. I like that they are a preschool, not day care, but include extended hours. Pros: Very academic, Very loving Cons: don't serve lunch more
