About 2 months ago, I booked my daughter s 5th birthday party for September 2012 at Little Chefs in Syosset. They just informed me that the owner decided to close down this location and the only thing they could do for me is to move my party to Port Washington! The owner told me I can come today to take a look at the location and discuss it with her today so I drove there with 3 kids (took me an hour) and she had already left!!! I am furious. The Port Washington store looked disgusting anyway and was an hour away so I will not be having my daughter s party there. I could not even imagine dealing with these people. The workers looked like they were about to fall on their faces. Horrible!!! more

NASTY! I purchased a Groupon in Oct. 2010 for Little Chefs. It expires on 10/21/11. After I purchased I realized it can only be used on the Holiday schedule. Being a full time working mother, the availability of during the week is hard. I took off from work on Columbus Day 10/10 to take my daughter before it expires, as they do have a class listed for that day. The woman I spoke to in Syosset , who refused to give me her name was extremely rude, asking why I waited so long to call her. I explained there isn't a must call or book by date and the Groupon isn't expired. She said she had no room and the only thing she offered was a Thursday 10/26 class from 5-7pm. I once again explained to her that I am a full time working mother that lives at least 30 minutes from her Syosset location and would never be able to make 5pm.. I said I can do any weekend class or if she could extend the Groupon to a later date, I'd make arrangements; she refused. I asked to speak with the owner, who she said was not in. After asking 3 times for the owners name, she told me it was Gayle Ginsburg, but I can be not certain if there is truth to that. I"m extremely disappointed that this woman will be getting money from Groupon for doing nothing but be rude and nasty! more
