Scary scary place. My son was enrolled in their GA PreK program. 3 days later I pulled him out. Everyday one of those 3 days, the teacher met me outside with complaints and remarked how she ""Had to apologize to the other parents for me"" and much more. These people had no compassion, no dedication, and no desire to help children be their best. They can't legally kick children out of preK, so it goes to reason that when they want a kid out, they are just nasty to the parents. Make it so humiliating for the parents to bring their kids to school and then the undesired kid won't come anymore. Thanks a lot Little Acres! We had one chance at a PreK education for my son. That chance was wasted, as it was then too late to get him into the areas other preK's. Hindsight is 20/20. Education is important for all kids...not just the best behaved kids. more

Don't let the reviews fool you. We took a tour of the facility, it was a bit dated. The food they serve the children is awful, and there are always some kind of sweets being given. We picked our child up on valentines day and all the kids were bouncing off the walls. The teacher commented that is was probably due to all the candy they had, I guess they assume everyone feeds their children garbage... I also happened to witness two children (toddlers) attack another child, they ripped chunks of his hair out. The teacher remarked that one of the ""bad"" children was one they had to keep an eye on as he apparently does stuff like that all the time. Not sure why he would be allowed to stay. We will be choosing a new facility. more

The Best of the Best 12/18/2009

My son has gone to Little Acres for 2 years now. I couldn't ask for a better day care center!!! The staff who has been there for years is compassionate and attentive. Everyone of my son's teachers have developed a relationship with him. This is what every parent should desire in every daycare and school. Being an former teacher, I see that he is learning. Who knew a 2 /12 year old could recite all the months of the year? Don't miss out on a great place. Pros: compassionate staff more

Great Day Care! 7/21/2008

My two children have been at Little Acres for a year now and we have absolutely no complaints. My husband and I can relax every day knowing that our children are hugged, cuddled, and are so comfortable in the family-like atmosphere of this facility. They were great with potty training, too. The owner is very nice and also serves as the cook! All of their meals are cooked right in the building. I think they eat better there than they do at home!! The meals are pretty amazing for a day care. The staff is friendly and conversational. My son is starting pre-K there this school year and we had no issues with the sign up process. It's easier if your child already attends Little Acres to get into the pre-K program. We are looking forward to another great year of seeing our children happy and well taken care of! more

Little Acres...the best around 7/2/2007

Little Acres is the best facility around. To call the owner a sadist is ridiculous. The calibre of care at Little Acres is surpassed by no one in the area. And the owners and director are not out to make a quick buck by allowing people to pay their way into enrollment of their children. My child has been at Little Acres since 7 weeks of age. The care she has received in the family centered environment has brought peace of mind to many who have to work and find child care outside the home. more

Whips and chains with your pre-k enrollment, Try getting your child in here! 1/30/2007

I can only rate this facility for its Pre-K program. When inquiring as to the availablity of registering our child with little acres, the owner informed us that she DID NOT take pre-registrations. What is up with that? She told us that she preferred to have an open enrollment on the 24th of March that WOULD require a parent to camp out at their facility overnite to secure a spot in the pre-k program. I asked her if I could simply pay a fee ($100) to go ahead an circumvent this process, she said ""if you care about your child's future, you would be willing to sacrifice a night of camping out to ensure it"". I can speak from experience that pre-k is not the gateway to the Ivy League, so she must think quite highly of herself and her teachers. I think that the owner is a sadist who enjoys thinking that she has the market cornered on pre-k in the immediate area. Maybe so, but their will be others soon. We will be driving about 1 mile past her facility to start our daughter on her way to the Ivy League somewhere else. Pros: poor management Cons: not exactly my idea of educated staff more
