Lisa Turley is the only hair dresser I have come across who can make both my hair and my husband's hair look fantastic! We've never been able to use the same person and be so happy with our results. And trust me that says quite a lot about her, as we have lived in LA, New York City and Europe!\r \r Lisa is an awesome colorist and she really reads your hair so you don't do something to it -- cut, color or otherwise -- that would be a disaster. She really knows her stuff and we trust her completely.\r \r Besides her talent, Lisa is also a great person to be around. I moved to phoenix 2 years ago and went to a couple different salons before stumbling across Lisa on Citysearch. Based on Lisas reviews I thought I?d give her a try. Thank goodness I did! Lisa provided the right treatment to help adjust my hair to phoenix and the color was just right! Lisa approached me in a grocery store just over a year ago. She had a model cancel on her for a ""hair show"" she was doing. She asked me if I would be interested in taking the model's place. I explained to Lisa that I was in the process of growing my hair out from an extremely short, layered do and I was more than dubious about letting someone cut on all my months of laborious grow out. She asked me if I would mind if she got rid of my ""mullet"", and I was mortified. I knew I had to let her cut my hair even if Lisa cut off more than I wanted her to. ---The hair ""show"" was actually a teaching demonstration for her coworkers, (very impressive in this industry) and it was the best cut I have had by far, all my life. Lisa is extremely talented and very current in her techniques. She listens to what her clients ask for and always delivers. I receive tons of compliments on my hair style and am quick to refer her. I moved to Arizona just over 2 years ago & have tried several salons, but haven't been happy with the results. This past October I was visiting a friend in VA & went to her amazing stylist...I got a new haircut that I loved; I received compliments almost daily on my cut. I really wanted to duplicate it &I tried Lisa based on all the excellent reviews. During my 1st visit we had decided to make some changes. I knew I had a good quality haircut, but I wasn't 100% happy with it & I was no longer receiving compliments on my great do. I scheduled my second appointment along with a color, expressed my concerns & I'm happy with the results. Lisa is very knowledgeble & she really listens. My hair has never looked so great, both the color and cut. I have been going to Lisa for about a year now and I am amazed with each visit. She always has great ideas when I want a change. I always just let her do what she wants and it is always a masterpiece. The color always looks natural and compliments my skin tone. When I leave the salon I feel like a million bucks! People tell me all the time that my hair is so cute (it is short) and I frequently get asked ""who does your hair?"". WHAT A GAL, WHAT A CUT\r \r I saw a great ""cut"" in yoga class (guess I wasn't so in the moment) and after class asked who cut her hair, and she turned to the beautiful gal next to her and said ""Lisa"" did it. Well that has started me on a grand journey of beautiful hair. Lisa is the best colorist in the state and beyond. She is an artist and has a real gift for achieving an absolute (better then) natural look. After years of flying back to Chicago to get a good color I found Lisa! I could not be happier. I was prepared to live through some bad haircuts until I found the right hair stylist. My anxiety was short lived however as I was fortunate enough to make an appointment with Lisa Turley after reading so many glowing reviews of her work on this site. \r \r From the moment I met Lisa I had a feeling I made the right call as she is an engaging and warm person. She took the time to get to know my lifestyle and how I liked my hair and made some suggestions on style and color that were a little different from what I was doing in the past. I was open to her suggestions and when my hair was done I was completely thrilled. My haircut and color were just perfect. \r \r Lisa is technically amazing with the scissors and my hair looks great even when it is ready to be cut again because of the precision of the haircut. That is exactly what this hair cut was ....she think she is good, she takes short cuts...and she uses a razor to layer the hair ends, which only causes the hair to frizz....and looks like a $5 haircut, instead of the money you payed. \r And she has an attitude . I went to Lisa Turley based on the recommendations on this site. Unfortunately, the recommendations fell extremely short. At the beginning of my appointment, I told Lisa exactly what I wanted in terms of base color and blonde highlights. Lisa decided that instead of listening to me, the customer, that she would decide exactly what I needed. What I ended up with was orange hair with brunette low lights, which I NEVER asked for. I was truly disgusted with the end result and would NEVER go back, nor recommend anyone else to Lisa Turley! more

Lisa Turley has been doing my hair for almost a year now and I can honestly say, I will never go to another stylist. The first time Lisa cut my hair I was really nervous, I wanted to have it cut very short but I wasn't sure how it would look. Lisa assured me that with my face, neck line, and shoulders it would look great. Sure enough, she was right. I loved my hair cut, and constantly received compliments for it. Many women like myself, go through phases where you want something new, or something a little bit different with your cut or color. When I sit down in Lisa's chair and tell her I want something a bit different this time, she brainstorms a ton of new creative ideas that she thinks would work well with my face and skin tone. Each time I come out with something new, but it never fails that it looks absolutely gorgeous. \r \r Lisa is super easy to get in touch with, you can make appointments with her via e-mail, telephone, and even text message. She is always quick to respond and work out a date and time. Since I have been getting my hair done by Lisa, I have moved down to Tucson, AZ (approx. 2 hour drive), I refuse to use anyone else. I live in Sedona, which is 2 hours away from Scottsdale and I somehow make the time to see Lisa every 6 weeks. I've been going to Lisa for quite a while and every time I see her, she transforms my hair. This is not an easy task as I have short hair. I get compliments all the time. Lisa is truly gifted at what she does. From the time she finds you in the busy waiting room until the time you swipe your credit card, Lisa is an absolute pleasure to be with.
