I heard about lisa through people in Middletown... I knew she was expensive but I wanted to get what I thought I deserved..... Anyway her prices are crazy.... She charges you for phone calls at 1/2 price and she is only on the phone for about 3 mins.... She made mistakes which I had to catch and bring to her attention.... With what she charges its not worth fighting for some things because I would be paying her more than what I am fighting for... She also likes to write letters at 150 a pop and then for her response to the letter she receives back is 75..... SHE IS NOT WORTH THE PRICE....... She made me go for a smaller child support payment so that I could get the house and come to find out that I still could have gotten the house AND my full child support payment... She is NOT a good lawyer... My ex and I had to sit down by ourselves and figure out our divorce because she was useless and expensive.... I should have just used a mediator.... I tell everyone I know NOT to use her...... more

She will make promises to you........she will reel you in, but then stick you with thousands and thousands of dollars which you don't have. I am now a divorced single mother with a $12K bill from her. promised me a divorce in 3 months, it lasted 7 months, promised me child support, alimony, etc etc..I GOT NOTHING. been supporting my child for 2 years on my own while the father has been doing his own thing!!! SHE IS TERRIBLE!!! IF YOU ARE A MULTI MILLIONAIRE...then go ahead use her and she will take you to the poor house!!!! she is the worse lawyer out there!@!!!!!! She's known as the Barracuda of Middletown and most of the practicing lawyers here CAN NOT stand her. But since she's an industry all to herself, they can't avoid working with her, so they play nice. She has MANY many many clients. A typical day in court with her finds you surrounded by anywhere from 8 to 12 other women. She only accepts women clients, by the way. She's also selective about the color of her clients, but I didn't care about that as long as she wanted to take my case. She treats you like you are her child and she goes after your ex with the fury of hell. Unfortunately, she's impossible to reel back in. And when you realize your children are paying the price for her MO, it's too late. This woman is hungry and tenacious and will do anything - ILLEGAL or IMMORAL to win you your case. If you hire her, be prepared to deal with the consequences of having her fight for you in her dirty and twisted ways. Remember, at the end of the day; she has fought for you with everything she's got and she will want to get her share of EVERYTHING YOU GOT. She's not cheap. She'll come after you too, to get her ""fair"" share. Stay away from her if you love your children at all. She does not care about them. She wants to get you your money and get her part of it. She single-handedly ""helped"" me to destroy anything positive I could have salvaged from my failed family. Be careful what you wish for. This woman is capable of getting it for you. And more.
