This was the worst experience that I have ever had with a mover. They quoted me a price, and then put half my belongings on the truck then tell me all the other charges. They were rude and disrespectful. Showed up three and a half hours late. I tried to cancel the service but Alex talked me back into it. Worst mistake ever. They charged me almost $300 in packaging material that I was not quoted for. They moved me until midnight and left trash on my new neighbor's bushes. They were rude and loaded up the charges. They tried to stretch the time too. I was charged almost a $1000 to move a 2 bedroom apartment to another 2 bedroom apartment less than 5 miles apart. Score: 5-stars++. Excellent. Highly recommended. I communicated with Gordon over the phone and email. He “architected” the entire move and helped me with couple of “money saving” advises (because it was my first move). Professional communication. Excellent responsiveness. The moving team: Alex (fluent with both Russian and Romanian) and Armando. The team arrived 5 minute before the scheduled time. Assessed the actual volume in 5 min and accomplished the entire move in 5 hours with zero interference from my side. Both guys worked as “wrapping-packing-moving-unwrapping” machines! Extremely impressive. I was really happy that I decided to hire them instead of doing this move myself (what I actually considered after reading all negativities about moving companies in this and couple of other forums). Bottom line: I would recommend the team of George, Alex and Mitch to anyone! more

Antony was very professional over the phone when I was in the booking process and answered most of my questions for me before I even had to ask which I appreciated and once I booked my move with Lions Van Lines Miami Movers everything from there was handled in a professional manner also. When the actual movers showed up in the afternoon of my moving date they took care of me and put me at ease knowing that my stuff would arrive in Miami and I was in good hands. Norman the driver was very nice and the movers were very happy with the fact that we bought them pizza and drinks at lunchtime. I would refer these guys to other people looking for a moving company that can do their move professionally. more

I will NEVER contact this company for another quote. They originally quoted me a decent price (but in this case you get what you pay for). I hired them, and had an agreement and delivery date for 50 boxes. Nothing showed up on the agreed upon date. I called and was told later that day they would be there. Once again a no show. I called again and got the delivery rescheduled for the next day. Once again a no show! Later that day they call me and say we are shipping you boxes UPS. I am ok with this. I receive the boxes and find the outsourced box company charges me for the boxes! At this point I've pretty much had it with this company! I email my rep (no response, big shocker with these jokers). I call to cancel my service and get a nice gentleman who kindly says he will cancel ... quote. They originally quoted me a decent price (but in this case you get what you pay for). Miami Movers managed to ease all my fears and make my move into a pleasant experience. The staff and the customer service rep were prompt, polite, reasonable and diligent and did the job efficiently and without complaints. I have tried other Miami movers in the past and found myself regretting my choices. This time, however, was a blessing. I would thoroughly recommend these guys! I used Lions Van Lines Miami Movers for my move as well as my office move locally here. Dave was exceptional in leading his movers' team, while moving my furniture including some really heavy items and boxes. Not only were my moves done efficiently, but they also wrapped with like personal care all of my items and saved me time and headaches from doing it myself. I was also working on a tight budget and they gave me a good flat rate price, and the entire service was excellent! What else can I say regarding their moving service? Well I had to find a mover since my originally scheduled Pro Movers (what a name-Pro means what? they didn't show up on the day of my move, not even called me), well, thanks God I found Lions Van Lines, the guys arrived to my place after 20 minutes the move was set! They didn't take my last minute situation for granted, not even tried to overcgarge me, the hourly rates are cheaper than Pro Movers whatever they are, and the service is awesome! more

There are moving service companies who claim to be good, but I am proof that this company is really the best in the area. I have moved 4 times in the past and their service made this most stressful time to be the easiest and smoothest move ever. I highly recommend them to everybody. Their local rates are the cheapest and the price quote I was given didn't change, the customer service staff was helpful and the movers took great care of my furniture and belongings. This is a small token of our appreciation to the best local movers in the area and their customer service and staff that provided moving service to my family during our last minute relocation this Monday.. We submitted a form and recieved a call from their customer service lady and she explained us all the details and rates, gave us the best price quote among all the best local moving service providers, set up our move out day for a Monday which worked out very well. The movers were awesome and the entire move was just as smooth. Highly recommended company. Great personal care, easy communication! more

After getting baraged with calls with different price quotes and reading reviews of dozens of moving companies, I decided to go with a local mover, these guys have a lot of positive reviews all over the Internet. First I called for the price quote and the guy of their customer service was very helpful, explaining all the details and rates. These guys are pros. The movers came when scheduled. Packed my belongings better than any other movers and I've moved a bunch. They stored the furniture for a week and delivered my goods on the date and time promised to our new apartment. The packers and movers were careful, personable and quick. I would use these folks in a minute. I ended up paying $60 less than the estimate due to weight and I was pleasantly surprised. I had planned to have them unpack but my place was still being rehabbed on the delivery date, so they changed the ending services and processed me a refund. Use this reliable local moving company if you need to make a stress-free move. They are the best. The staff is easy for communication and they value their customers. more

cheapest rates, easy communication! I was very impressed most of all by their customer service. They were so friendly and helpful from the first time I called for their price. It was very important to us to get the top moving company. We had a lot of expensive stuff like italian leather sofas etc. On the job I felt secure that they were very helpful and took such a care with my things. And everyone of their staff was professional. Our experience with this local moving company was outstanding. We have moved many times, both locally and interstate. We have had negative experiences in the past so it was a relief when our local move with these movers went so well. The company's customer service staff was so helpful, our movers on the day of our moving service were very respectful of me, my possessions and my time (therefore money). What really impressed me was how hard and fast these men worked. Ron and his movers were courteous to me and took great care of my stuff and it was great to see how polite they were to each other as well. I would not only recommend these movers' service but I would use them again. Well done! I can't say enough good things about their incomparable service! The moving service we received from was awesome and I'm 100% satisfied with my moving experience. I was looking to move from Miami Beach to Orlando and I searched on Google for the best Miami movers and found this one very cheap best price moving and storage company. I called the office and reserved my crew for my moving service. Later when I was searching for the company's reviews I found a lot of positive reviews all over the Internet including Judy's book, Citysearch and Insider Pages.The customer service is very good .. I had to change my date 4 - 5 times because I was not able to find an appartment. They were very helpful.. They did wrap all my items in blankets and gave my free boxes for my clothes. They took care of my kitchenware and all the stuff. I received all my items without any damage in Orlando in 2 days as I insisted when scheduling the move.I just paid 800 + tips :-) .. Over all was a painless and stress-free move and I suggest this moving company to all my friends in Florida.Edit - Delete more

These Miami Movers definitely Above Average! they moved me twice in 2007 and now I hired them for my last minute Miami to Fort Lauderdale move. The guys who moved me last time almost 3 yers ago came to move me and it was awesome, I even remember their names. The same crew, the same service-EXCELLENT! more
