Very helpful& caring staff at Lindens 7/1/2011

Lindens has an awesome display of eyeglass frames. I don't imagine there are many places with so many, many frames to choose from. But it is more than just that. Many people on their staff have been there for years, they are very kind and caring, and thats what keeps me coming back year after year. \r For one, Tom the Optician is absolutely wonderful. He has been helping me select my frames for years. Kind, softspoken, a real gentleman. \r The optometrist I see at Lindens is Dr. Richard Morrell. He is SO nice. What a professional. It is a pleasure to deal with him. Very informative & patient. Such a kind, caring human being. \r And so I keep coming back! more

Kind staff, caring Eye doctors 3/21/2010

I agree with the reviewer Dianna below. Lindens is a very reputable \r place. I’ve always been treated well by their staff.\r To their detractors: Where else can you get an appointment to see a \r doctor the very same day? When my son injured his eye playing \r basketball, Linden’s took him in right away. At 7:30 at night! They \r were kind and concerned and provided excellent care to him, \r plus they take our insurance plan VSP.\r They have many capable and caring doctors on their staff. We usually \r ask for Dr. Morrell or Dr. Limfat – both are so sincere and caring, \r and Dr. Yepremian has great bedside manner.\r I don’t’ usually engage in name-calling, but that reviewer “t” \r below must be uneducated, or uninformed, or both. (In my opinion, \r most likely a disgruntled former employee. I know how this online \r review stuff works – my sister owns a small business. It’s usually \r the people you fire – or your competitors -- who go on-line and say \r terrible things about you.)\r \r more

High quality eye care for children 7/30/2009

Dr. Emily Linden was wonderful in examining my daughter's eyes. At the school nurse's suggestion, we went to linden optometry on Colorado blvd. Dr. Emily was very patient and kind. She explained everything she was doing so that my daughter could understand. I was very impressed with the docs education and intelligence. I learned alot too. :o) \r They have a special waiting room for kids, with children's books, toys, etc. Very kid-friendly. My daughter was very happy with the whole process. Pros: Great docs,Open 7 days/week, same day appointments available more

Simply AWFUL! 7/5/2008

BEWARE - Only go here if you are found of lousy customer service, spending lots of time in the waiting area, being shuffled around like a cow off to slaughter, and getting ripped off. This place is the equivalent to visiting the DMW, except the DMV offers much better customer service. If you choose to ignore these words, just remember, you have been warned. Pros: Absolutely none. They will rip you off here. Avoid, avoid, avoid. Cons: Everything. Don't go here! more

Worst service ever 4/1/2008

I had a terrible experience at Linden Optometry.\r 1. Not personable. It's a cold hospital environment that makes you feel like a number.\r 2. I had a problem where they wouldn't give me my contact lens prescription after the exam. The insisted that I come back for a follow up visit before they would write a prescription. I talked to two optometrists and to the manager, and they all spoke to me in a condescending manner (ie., like I was a kid). They didn't budge and were rude expressing so. I'm still in shock of this place.\r 3. They charge high fees. They tacked on a $40 fitting fee to the contact lens exam fee. My exam costed over $100, where the place I usually get it down is about $50.\r \r Overall, avoid this place like the plague. Sure they have lots of glasses and lots of doctors, but they're cold, mean and inflexible. more

If you get your glasses here, then you really are blind. 9/6/2007

I just came back from Linden Optometry to ask about some new glasses and they knew nothing. It was the worst experience at an optometry store ever. It was like going to a crowded ER at a crappy hospital, but without all the mess. There were babies crying though.\r \r I was waiting a the reception desk (that's at the back of the store) and there were two women dressed as nurses looking at each other and not doing anything. It took them about two-three minutes for them to notice the line that had formed in front of them.\r \r When it was my turn to be helped, I asked them about my glasses and they immediately called this vicious Asian lady that, instead of telling me to go elsewhere to get ""my special glasses that require special tools,"" she kept telling me the lenses were already scratched and they couldn't take it in.\r \r It was just freaking stupid. I hope that, if you go there, you have a better experience than me, or a really freaking deal on glasses, because it's not worth it. Pros: It's very annonimous and there are lots of bi-lingual people. Cons: Pricey, poor customer service, too many people and very little done. more
