A nice, family owned business, Linda's hires local gals -- some still in, or just out, of high school to give them their ""first taste"" of work.\r Linda only picks out the best hay, quality hay, she feeds it to her own horses. You would have to know and understand how much this nice lady cares about animals to know she only wants to have, and sell the best. I am the same way and would not want any less. Sure, you can get less expensive hay at other places on 6th Street -- BUT, you get what you pay for ~ your horse will show you that. Now, if you are feeding COWS, go ahead, give them that cheap alfalfa from ""Imperial Valley"" aka the DESERT.\r I'll feed my champion APHA mares and working ranch geldings high quality grass, grown in the fertile growing plains in Nevada, Northern California and wherever else Linda can find the BEST for her, and YOUR horses. This hay store has the rudest employees on earth. In addition, there hay is over priced and not worth the money, my horses would not eat it and shoved it to the side. With all the hay stores on 6th st. you can deffently do better! Pros: there is none Cons: the hay is lowbudget and the employees are rude. more
