Special dishes, variety of draughts and wines. Excellent appetizers. Salads to make a meal of. Happy hour specials. A venue worthy of your visit. You won't be disappointed.

Wonderful food! 1/22/2011

Ive probably been here about 15 times and have enjoyed every meal. I like how the bar is kind of seperated from the tables to keep the atmosphere calmer in the dining area. The beer is very good and there's variety to choose from. I haven't had the wine myself but my mother in law gets it all the time, and she's picky! Haha. The part I like the best is the food! My favorite appetizer are the mussels and my favorite entree is the sesame tuna! I would recommend going here if you want a delicious sit down or take out meal with good hand made beer! more

lousy food & wine .....very expensive for what you get 9/12/2008

My wife, daughter and I went to 'lily's last evening. It was NOT a nice gastronomic experience.\r :\r * The glasses of wine were expensive ($9) which was OK but the wine was so acid that it had to be sent back. This can happen anywhere but my guess is that the bottle had been open at least 72 hours with no gas protection.\r * the bread rolls were stale and the butter had some ""extra"" mixed in that was really awful.\r * the shrimp & scallop dish was badly cooked (not over or under but just bad ) although the vegetables were OK\r * my wifes broiled scallops tasted like ....nothing ! ...really awful .\r \r The entrees were $19.95 each so not cheap particularly given the ""brewery "" surroundings.\r \r Not a place to go to unless your full evening is made up of beer with no food.\r more

Great place for a cheap pint of beer 7/15/2008

This is strictly a review of the beer as I have not eaten any food at Lily's. I have drank a fair amount of craft beer and would say that Lily's beer is a great value for a pint of beer. 1 dollar pints from 8 p.m. till midnight on Mondays are a great deal; if you want a seat at the bar then I would advise you to show up at 8PM as it gets pretty packed. The all you can eat fish fry sounds like a really good deal for 10 dollars on Monday nights also. Their happy hour is from 2 pm - 6pm on weekdays and 11am-6pm on Saturdays, 2 dollar pints.\r \r I would recommend their Whitefish Bay Wheat (Hefeweizen) for a great summer beer. Their Reggie's French River Red (American Amber) and IPA are also very good. The Strange Stout has a thin mouthfeel but it's very sessionable; it's not that filling. more

Wonderful seafood 9/16/2007

We really enjoyed our lunch at Lily's. It was quite empty when we went for lunch on a weekend, so we got a great table by the window and the service was friendly and quick, but not rushed.\r The food was delicious and the portions are huge. You could really feed two people off an appetizer and one entree. If i didn't have the sneaking suspicion that i ate more than two days of calories in one sitting, i could eat here every day! Pros: wonderful seafood selection, great ambiance more

Always a good idea 7/6/2007

I have been there 5 or 6 times now. Every meal has been excellent. Make reservations for dinner though, it can get full. Their own micro brew is outstanding; my personal favorite is the Strange Stout. Calamari Lily's Style is a really good appetizer, 3-4 people could eat off of it. Its small pieces of calamari breaded with a sauce on the side. Pros: Ambience, Service, Food, Micro Brew Cons: Parking. more

A must visit when we're visiting family 4/18/2006

Not only is the food here always great, but they were kind enough to help me buy my brother a birthday dinner long distance when we couldn't make it into town to celebrate with him. They could not have been more helpful. The microbrews and seared ahi are always on the top mf my list. Pros: great food, friendly service, great beer! Cons: crowded more

best of Royal Oak 7/19/2005

Lilly's food is wonderful. The service can go either way. Went once and the service and music were great, the next time service was ok at best. Call ahead reservations. Park in the lot in back and enter from the back door (you'll see the kithchen as well as the brewery that way). The kitchen is always clean. Well worth a visit. Pros: live music, brunch, fun bar area Cons: parking more

best happy hour in Royal Oak 5/7/2005

No one seems to know that this place is a brewery as well. It also has an incredible wine selection. Happy hour prices are $2 beers until 7 and also one on Saturday. Now, a Saturday happy hour is what this world needs more of! Overall, a fantastic alternative to the normally annoying crowd to be found in most other Royal Oak bars. You will not be disappointed. Pros: happy hour, great food, friendly service Cons: small bar area more

best ever 12/27/2002
