i'll chime in with another super positive review for these guys. i definitely recommend these guys. they were funny, super nice and completely accommodating. they had extra boxes and tape, which came in handy when one of mine broke (oops). they even gave me a ride to my new place since i don't have a car. I would recommend these guys to any one who is seeking for a peace of mind. more

I have used Lightning Van lines for moving my office last week. I have a home/office setup. I was a bit worried that all the paper work and the office equipment will get messed up and It will be impossible to find anything (experience from a past move...) They assured me that they are experienced and I shouldn't worry but with my previous experience I was nervous In the end of the day I was impressed from the efficiency of the crew and the professional service they provided me with and the salesman was true to his word. I paid the price that I was comfortable with and got the service that I requested and promised. more

I just graduated from NYU and I got a job in Berkeley, CA. I needed a company that can move my stuff out there on my college sized budget. I only had two weeks to do it?All this didn?t matter because Lightning Van Lines is the best moving company EVER! My move was cheap, quick and easy. They really have some great customer service reps that know what they?re talking about; they truly are worry free moving! Pros: expert reps and great price more

So I?m from the Bay and I was moving out to Brentwood. At first I was going to do it myself, but I didn?t REALLY want to haul anything?I found out about this moving company called Lightning Van Lines. Wow, their name is very appropriate! They were beyond what I was expecting from a moving company. My partner needed the convincing, once he saw them in action he was sold too. Not only were they professional and courteous but, they were able to get me a great estimate! I?m not lazy but it?s great to have someone else do all the work. Pros: nice price!!!!!!!!! I hired Lightning Van Lines cause my mother used them and she was happy with their service. So in returned I used them and I am very happy with their service. I've been collecting glass orbs for sometime now and they are very delicate. I was deathly afriad of these orbs breaking but this company was very delacate to the touch and was amazing with all my "do this and do that". I highly recomend Lightning Van Lines. I have moved quite a few times in the past few years and I have to say, I have never experienced such professionalism during a move. If up till now moving was a stressful experience, now that I met Lightning van lines, its not anymore! This was one of the worst experiences of my life! We moved from Vallejo CA to Colorado. They charged us 2,000 over the estimated price for additional packing materials, custome crates, etc. they insisted we needed to keep our furniture safe from damage. Delivery date was set for the 15th, it did not arrive until the 22nd. Boxes were literally smashed, dishes & breakables destroyed. Furniture was deeply scratched, pieces broken off, shelves split in half, the list goes on and on. . . . We paid thousands of dollars to have our belongings destroyed. Nine months later I am still crying over it. We are still envolved in the "complaint" process. They also put a huge gouge in my husbands BMW motorcycle. DO NOT USE THEM!!! (esp. for long distance moves) Pros: They were friendly enough to deal with in the begining. Cons: Destroyed property, over charged, have not made amends for their wrongs. more

I moved my 3 bedroom home from Santa Monica, California to San Francisco. I used your services, and was very happy with the result. The original quote I got was honored upon completion of the move even though there was a piece that was much more difficult to move than we anticipated. The guys you sent were very professional, careful and patient with me as I was nervous about the process. I wanted to thank you for your honesty and integrity and let you know that I would recommend your services to anyone. The reason for my move was relocation for work, and my company will use your services often in the coming years. Thanks again for a great job. We used them twice this year and BOTH times were great experiences! Starting with the sales man he kept me calm under stressful conditions. He made sure our movers were on time and EFFICIENT! I have never seen such hardworking movers! The team (both instances) were very careful with our furniture and unbelievably quick in clearing out our house. I've moved many times in my life but can honestly say these were the best experiences......NOTHING WENT WRONG! We love our new house and plan to stay there for a long time, however, we can recommend this company without hesitation! Pros: great moving company more

Our move from San Francisco to Tupelo, Mississippi went perfectly. Lightning did a great job of estimating the cost of our move and helped make it affordable. Everyone was understanding of my situation: expecting a new baby, limited budget, limited time. We did our best to pack ourselves effeciently and to intelligently and neatly organize all of our boxes for the moving team who came to pick up. The packing they did was fantastic and fast. I regret that I've lost their names because all three guys were professional, friendly, and a real pleasure to work with. They did a great job. Delivery came at a perfect time. I gave them some challenges on this end but they handled it all with grace. No items were broken, nothing was lost, and they beat the noontime sun. They were accurate with my inventory, happy to separate the boxes and items I needed in storage from the items I kept out, and had completely professional attitudes. Wow. Thanks to everyone. All of them did a fantastic job for us and we are grateful. They did an amazing job of overseeing all of this. Pros: Good Company / Comfortable to work with Cons: None more

I can say our experience with Lightning Van Lines was EXCELLENT! The packers in California did a great, thorough job. They were courteous, efficient, and careful. We, as you know, put extra

I had the worst moving experience by hiring Lightning Van Lines, Inc. Please stay away from this company. They delivered my stuff late and on top of that they lost my two boxes including my dvd player, I have filed report against them on better business bueru also.
