Lifetime Fitness, 3419 Trinity Mills Rd, Dallas, TX 75287
This used to be a great place, until July 1, 2011, when they ceased 24 hour operations. They just stopped one of the premier services and then tried to upsell us to a platinum account at other locations. Some of us think corporate is planning to shut this location down.
Some of their part-timers are rude, but that's to be expected from minimum wage earners. I just take towels to make up for the difference. I love their free towels! They make good bedding for my dogs, covers for my lawn chairs, and keep my steering wheel from getting too hot in these Texas summers.
The salon department left much to be desired. It seems that they train managers here, and they do need the training. I received awful service from the massage therapists until I met S, who was the best, until she went for a better job elsewhere (and who can blame her?).
I would rate them lower, except the training department is top notch. Most of the trainers are excellent! I hesitate to say too much because I'm honestly afraid corporate will move them elsewhere.
I would highlight the excellent sales staff, but the turnover rate is so high that anyone I knew from that area is long gone already.
Lifetime's in-house magazine doesn't speak to everyday Americans, IMO. I guess if you are not a buddhist, new ager, or hippie, they have nothing to say to you.
I just keep reminding myself about those free towels.
