Life House Vista

The worst place ever.....they dont have enough CNA working there and the people are rude....The LVN and RN always rushing the CNA that are working there specially when it's time for their shift to end. i dont understand why this place is still open. the rooms are outdated the beds are also old. i do not recomment any body that is thinking about sending their loved ones their. it should be rated minus - 0 just to give u an hint about this place, The person that gave a 5stars probably one of the boss cause this facility its the worst of the worst. It needs to be close ASAP. How do they expect the CNA to take care of the residents when 80 residents and only 3-5 CNA working that day....it's only rare they have 5 CNA. They dont pay overtime and they firing old CNA to replace with fresh one while their pay is the lowest in Vista. NO NO NO NO somebody needs to call and report them ASAP! more

I have volunteered in this facility for many months as well as 5 other Nursing facilities in the Vista, Rancho Bernardo, Oceanside, San Marcos and Escondido area. This facility by far is the worst Ive ever been in. The facility itself is spacious and thats about the only thing it has going for itself. There is not enough CNA's to resident ratios therefore residents are neglected. There is only one wound care nurse who is responsible for over 100 residents dressing changes in one day......this can not be done therefore residents dressing changes are not being changed as ordered by the doctor. There is a serious shortage of towels and wash cloths. Baby wipes are not used here. This means the wash cloths that the residents are provided to use on there face are also used to wipe residents rear ends ...... CNA's rush the residents when feeding them by stuffing there face full of food before there ready for more because there on a time restraint and there is a shortage of CNA's. The nurses there openly talk about private information about residents out in the open so that other residents can hear. This is a HIPPA violation, The state inspectors are there so often investigating abuse,neglect ect so often they should have there own office there. This is a one star out of 5 star community and Im convinced they stole this star from another facility. If you care about your loved one, I highly suggest you keep them out of this death house. There are many others in the area that have a much better rating and reputation. more

My wife has been at this Community for many years, since she began experiencing memory loss. The Community is clean, cheerful, with excellent amenities, the food is good, and the staff that work there are caring. \r \r The Community has excellent events, large expansive lawn areas, the rooms are large and clean, and I know my wife is getting the best local care that is affordable.\r \r Thank You. more

I was wrongfully terminated from this facility because i was assulted by another employee, they said we cant have altercations between staff, and other reasons, as well, i was terminated. wrongfully. I also believe the patients are being neglected, noy due to the staff but becausem they dont have enough staff.
