Liberty Family Restaurant

Food is not only very poor quality but one waitress bragged that when she is not tipped well or if she dislikes someone they, "get more than they ordered". Also they had cockroaches and I believe they still do. They also stated that they serve mostly the elderly, therefore felt their food does not have to be high quality. According to them, the elderly do not care about quality as long as it's cheap. This place is anything but cheap for the garbage they serve. Ate there a few times and there always seemed to be a problem. They do not fix their probems, they ignnore them and then you chance getting something put in your food. When I mentioned a problem, an asian looking waitress got very angry at me and talked so loud everyone in the restaurant took notice. She then stormed off and refused to wait on us. The people who do eat there do tend to me older and people who want to eat out but live near and don't want to have to travel. They also try to overcharge and than pretend that it was a mistake, and slip little extra's in for things like an extra lemon, etc. I would NOT eat at this place EVER again. Not into eating bugs and spat on food! more

MY WIFE AND I DECIDED TO TRY THIS SO CALLED "Restaurant" AFTER A FRIEND TOLD ME ABOUT IT. MY WIFE ORDERD THE POPCORN SHRIMP DINNER. AND I ORDERED THE NEW YOK STRIP STEAK DINNER. WHEN THEY BROUGHT OUT THE DINNER, AND MY WIFE STARTED TO EAT HER SHRIMP, SHE NOTICED A DEAD BUG(YES YOU ARE READING THIS RIGHT A DEAD BUG) IN THE LETTUCE GARNISHING THE SHRIMP. THE DINNER (SHRIMP) COST $8.00 THE ONLY THING MY WIFE ATE WAS THE DINNER SALAD, WHICH WAS SERVED BEFORE THE SHRIMP WAS. AND SHE ATE THE MASHED POTOTOES(WHICH WERE FAKE POTOTOES) FOR THE POTOTES AND DINNER SALAD WE WERE CHARGED $5.00!!!!!!!! IN MY OPINION WE WERE OVERCHARGED!!!! I TRIED TO DISCUSS IT WITH THE CASHIER(WHO APPEARED TO BE 16 - 17 YEARS OLD) AND ONLY GOT THE RESPONE " THAT IT IS BEYOND OUR CONTROL!" IN A VERY RUDE MANNER!!!!!! AND SHE DID NOT ACT VERY CONCERNED NOR APOLOGETIC ABOUT THIS INCIDENT!!!!! THE STEAK WAS SUPPOSED TO BE MEDIUM WELL, AND IT WAS OVERCOOKED!!!!!!!! MATTER OF FACT IT WAS ON THE DRY SIDE! WOULD BEEN BETTER OFF(FOOD QUALITY WISE JUST GOING TO A LOCAL FAST FOOD RESTAURANT!!!!) more

I have been to Liberty Family Restaurant severall times, the food is always prepared well and always tastes good! They have great breakfast and a wide variety of lunch and dinner! I would have to say one of my favorite things to get there is the chicken parmesan, it is just excellent, I could eat it every day! I suggest if you are looking for a great place for breakfast to go the Liberty Family Restaurant. Also the staff is very nice, and the servers are very friendly and do a great job keeping up! more

This restaurant wants to be a nice Greek restaurant with a large menu where everything is good on it. Unfortunately, the food is terrible and the service worse. Food is all pre-prepared, frozen, made from a mix, etc. Literally the quality of a frozen dinner. Everything is served with some reheated frozen corn, mashed potatoes are fake. I ordered a dinner salad and was presented with chopped up iceberg lettuce. NOTHING else. Our waiter was maybe 16, and clearly didn't care what we wanted, or when. I would not go back to this restaurant if it were free. more
