Our group of 6 people had a completely awful experience booking through Liahona Travel. We were working with Gail Snow (partner/owner I believe) and booked almost a year in advance. I won't go into the details, but our hotel room reservations were all incorrectly made. We had noticed a small island hopper plane required us to pre-register any dive equipment luggage and Gail said she DID do it. We double-checked personally with the airline and it had not been done. When we received our plane reservations they were incorrect on the itinerary--if we hadn't carefully read them over we would have had a very big mess at the airport. She had two of the couples flying on different days and flights. We had to physically go down to her office to straighten it out. We made an appointment for this and Gail said she would have everything ready when we arrived. She didn't. She started it when we got there. We sat for a couple hours. Then it was too late to contact somebody to complete everything--keep in mind this is just days before our trip. Gail was very rude and I was surprised by some of her comments. She basically said we couldn't expect her to plan the trip. No, we just expected her to plan the air, hotel and rental cars. We ended up cancelling the rental cars on ours and booking them ourselves as we no longer trusted Liahona travel to do so. What ended up happening was Gail turning the entire thing over to Jayme to fix her major mess up. I will give credit to Jayme for straigtening out the air (except the dive luggage--she missed it too). However, she wasn't able to straighten out the hotel problems and we ended up staying in terrible rooms. All rooms had serious water pressure problems, one couple's room had no mirrors, no working outlets (she used our room to do her hair every day), water barely dripped from faucet and all were in a very loud part of the resort.
