This place is always busy and with good reason: This is great Italian food with wonderful hosts. Fair prices, great food, and some wonderful picks at the bar on the drinks menu, you can't go wrong with Leonardo's. more

Exquisite Cuisine 4/23/2009

I have been to Leonardo's on many occasions (celebrations, work lunch, etc) and I have never once had a dissatisfying meal or overall experience. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone, especially someone in town on business as it is conveniently located near the Metro Airport. Try the stuffed shells, they are amazing! Pros: The atmosphere, service and food are excellent! Cons: It is always busy so call ahead. more

Simply Irresistable 11/17/2008

I started going to Leonardo's about 6 months ago, and now I make sure I stop by every time I'm in Metro Detroit. First off, I must commend the restaurant's service. Speaking to the owner personally, any bad apple is immediately dealt with. Personally, every single server was nothing less than fantastic for me. From pizza to veal parmesan, you really can't go wrong with anything you order at Leonardo's Italian Grille. :) more

I've been to this restaurant several times now, I have yet to have a single bad experience. The food is excellent, staff is very accommodating, and the atmosphere is exceptional. Pros: Friendly service, great atmosphere Cons: None more

Horrible service, avoid this place at all cost 11/25/2007

We went on Saturday, Nov 24,2007. We found the service was horrible, When we first walked in there was a singer singing out of key. then they lead us to the table and the place was empty for saturday night . That should of been a clue! The waitress kept coughing in her right hand, then serving. The seafood with calamari,shrimp,scallops, and oysters with fettucine was average. We had coffee,but the coffee became cold, waiting for the equal, as the waitress seemed to be socializing with someone. At this point the experience was sour, we declined the dessert. I was not going to give any tip,but my wife convinced me to leave 10%. Pros: location Cons: service,music were pretty bad more

Choose this place!!!! Great for all those visiting, staying in the local hotels!!!!!! Do not second guess this pizza place!!!! That is an understatement "pizza place". This restaurant has GREAT italian food. I am a first time customer, ordering carryout seafood pizza, chicken fettucine, and seafood fettucine. I want to tell you it was great!!!! The seafood fettucine was one of the best I have had (including Macaroni Grill and Olive Garden!!!!).No skimping on the meat!!!! The cheese was wonderful!!!!! I am a picky person and I couldn't pick this place apart. DO NOT SLEEP ON THIS PLACE!!!!! more

Atmosphere! Food! Quality! Value! 4/1/2003

This restaurant has everything. Food is fantastic with great specials each day. Service from your entrance to exit is above and beyond. On weekends, they have guitarist and violinist that play requests at your table and it is positively romantic! A must try is a Vito's Special (alcoholic beverage). All together, this restaurant has everything you could look for in a restaurant as a dinner date or a place to become a regular. Prices are reasonable and portions are generous as well. I suggest reservations for Friday or Saturday evenings. Even if you don't, the wait is definately worth it! And you will be back again. Plenty of well-lit parking as well.
